200w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN game store updates today, as follows:

First of all, a new batch of Special Offers graces us this week - if you're not a fan of Prince of Persia then you better start seriously reconsidering your position because we've got all the major PSN PoP content at cut prices.

Two trial and unlocks for you this week - the sublime Pac-Man Championship Edition DX (with a free XMB theme for those who choose to buy) and the Move-enabled Funky Lab Rat. The high-seas shooter, Dead Storm Pirates from Time Crisis: Razing Storm also makes its way to digital too.

Footie management fan but passed on Premier Manager when it released? We've got a demo for you to try - and just in time for the game's discount in the Special Offers. What are the chances? Snap it up while the getting's good.

The long-awaited Knives Chau add-on for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game arrives this week, along with more for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Also, don't forget to check out the new Joe Danger costume packs which not only give Joe a brand new look but expand his stunt moves to maximise your scores.

We've also got DLC for some of the big retail releases too, with brand new single-player...

201w ago - While the PS3 launched in North America four years ago today, SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN updates, as follows:

There's a good selection of new games for both platforms this week, as well as a wealth of DLC for various titles (not least the PS3 Exclusive Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Copernicus missions).

I don't have much to talk about this week - there have been a couple more PSone submissions that I'm sure you'll all be very pleased with once they're ready to go (don't ask me which, you know I can't tell you!)

202w ago - Sony's Ross McGrath of the SCEE PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PSN game store updates today, as follows:

First of all we have a new selection of Special Offers for you to browse - check these out and see if anything tickles your fancy.

I seem to recall we had a few requests for more bullet-hell, so you'll be pleased to see the platform/BH hybrid, Crescent Pale Mist hitting the digital shelves today.

On PSP we've a few sporty titles (yes, pro-wrestling is a sport, don't you dare say otherwise) for you and after the mini drought on minis last week, we've got three new bite-size gaming chunks for you today.

But, surely the star of the show this week is Grandia - undoubtedly one of the finest RPGs of the PSone generation. I'm very pleased it's finally with us and I'll be nabbing it as the next game to play on my work commute. Based on the potential 80+ hours of gameplay nestled away in there it should last about three months of tube journeys.

There's plenty of DLC this week, including the previously delayed Stunt pack for ModNation Racers and the missing Morpheus character skin for God of War III to name but a couple of pieces. See you later!

European PSN Game Store Update for November 3, 2010

50°
203w ago - Today SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team has posted up the European PSN Game Store Update for November 3, 2010.

To quote: There is an absolute Kratos overload this week, so if you're a fan of the angriest man in videogames you've got a lot to choose from. Oh, and there's Castle Crashers, so you can stop asking me when it's coming now.

So instead of the usual content discussion, here's a quick status update to let you know that your feedback is being acted upon since last week:

A few of the PSOne Classics from the list of PSOne title requests that you helped me to compile have been submitted for Store publish.

The process to get them emulated is underway and barring any technical or legal issues they will be published on the EU Store, hopefully before year end. I'm sure you'll hear from various publishers closer to release, but I'm not able to discuss what they are at the moment (just like all upcoming content).

This week as usual, the trial and unlocks do not go to Germany. We are currently organising full retail releases of these titles for the German consumers and those will be added to the German Store as soon as possible - in next week's publish at the latest and hopefully sooner.

As a result of your feedback...
