60w ago - Atlus Editor Nich Maragos has announced that Persona 2: Eternal Punishment hits PSN tomorrow.

Below are the details, to quote: If you're a die-hard Persona fan, there's a good chance you have every game in the series- Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 3 Portable, and the recent Persona 4 Golden- playable on PS Vita... except one. Persona 2 was split into two games - Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment - the former of which came out on PSP in 2011 and the latter having had no American release.

There's good news and bad news about that. The bad news is that unusual circumstances have prevented us from localizing Eternal Punishment PSP the way we'd have liked to, but the good news is that you can still find out how the story of Tatsuya...

Naughty Dog Announces The Last of Us is Coming in June, 2013

61w ago - Naughty Dog Creative Director Neil Druckmann has announced today that The Last of Us is coming in June, 2013.

Below are the details, as follows: The Last of Us is an ambitious project. In many ways it may be Naughty Dog's most ambitious project to date - brand new universe and cast of characters, brand new tech, brand new genre, not to mention it's easily the longest campaign Naughty Dog has ever made.

As we entered the final phase of development for The Last of Us, we came to realize just how massive Joel and Ellie's journey is. But instead of cutting corners or compromising our vision, we came to the tough decision that the game deserved a few extra weeks to ensure every detail of The Last of Us was up to Naughty Dog's internal high standards.

As a team we pride ourselves on setting a very high quality bar for every aspect of our games - gameplay, story, art, design, technology and more. We want to make sure The Last of Us raises that bar even further - for ourselves, and most importantly, for you, our fans.

The extra wait will be very short and your patience will be rewarded. Update your calendars. You won't even have to change seasons. The Last of Us will be available June 14th, 2013. Until then, know that we will be working extremely hard to deliver an experience that...

Creat Studios Announces Germinator Infects PS3 on March 5th, 2013

62w ago - Creat Studios VP of Publishing Scott Hyman has annoucned today that Germinator infects PS3 on March, 2013.

Below are the details, to quote: Scott here again from Creat Studios, with an update on our newest release. Germinator will be available in North America on March 5th.

Our team loves to make casual and puzzle games for PlayStation Network. We're the folks that brought you Magic Orbz, Cuboid, Mahjong Tales and Ricochet HD. Our next game, Germinator, continues that tradition.

Now, Germinator is no ordinary bubble game. There's none of the match-three that's been done everywhere else. Instead, same-colored bubbles combine and grow, grow, grow until they pop into a gooey mess!

Germinator features 75 Story levels, 75 Puzzle levels, an unlimited Arcade level and a two-player local multiplayer Duel level. But after stuffing the game with as much content as we could fit, it still wasn't enough.

All this splotchy, splattering goop needed to expand... to PlayStation Vita! We're thrilled to let everyone know that we're putting the final touches on the Vita build now, and we'll bring it to you in the coming weeks.

50°
62w ago - Sony Director of Emerging Platforms Chris Mahoney announced today that Chimpact swings to PlayStation Mobile tomorrow!

Below are the details, as follows: Monkeys are fun. They jump around, swing on vines, love high places, and occasionally fling poo at people that they don't like.

Today we are pleased to announced that you can have just as much fun as monkeys do (minus the poo) with the release of Yippie! Entertainment's Chimpact on PlayStation Mobile.

In Chimpact, you play as a little monkey who has to bounce around and collect items through a variety of levels to make it home safely. The game is absolutely gorgeous and the gameplay is simple, yet challenging. Chimpact is a new age platformer that has gameplay reminiscent of similar games from the 16-bit era.

The game features:

• Simple, one-touch gameplay
• Amazing visuals and character design
• 48 fun-filled levels to complete
• Invigorating jungle-themed background music
• Gem Quest and Totem Trial game modes
• Hidden items and achievements to unlock

Kevin Green, the Lead Artist for Chimpact, had this to say about the game in an interview with Pocket Gamer:

We were looking at a few things...
