LONDON 23rd March 2009 - Spring is nearly here, and with it comes new life for some of this generation's biggest, most action-packed games, exclusively on Xbox LIVE. With more than 35 million in combined sales, the "Halo" and "Gears of War" franchises have set the bar for multiplayer games on the console. Now players of "Halo 3" and "Gears of War 2" will see the multiplayer experiences made even better by great new Game Add-ons.

Mysterious XBox 360 Dash Update 2.0.7363.0 Released via XBL

50°
288w ago - It appears Microsoft has released a mysterious new dash update for the XBox 360, and is slowly making its way to all consoles that are connected to XBox Live. There is no word yet on what is new about it...

To quote: A handful of loyal X3F fanboys just sent word (via carrier pigeon, no less) that a new Xbox 360 dashboard update has just been released. The update installs the new dashboard version 2.0.7363.0 (replacing the old 2.0.7357.0 version) and has been slowly releasing across all consoles connected to Xbox Live.

Here at Fanboy Towers, we have yet to be prompted to download the new update. We are sad.

So, what new bells and whistles does the new dash update bring? Well... we aren't really sure and nobody at Microsoft has announced the update's release.

Those who have received it haven't been able to find anything new, so we're speculating that it's one of those behind the scenes/no new features dash upgrades. We'll keep you updated on the update once we're updated.

Apparently the publisher is using the Wii's Virtual Console as a sort of test bed as the listed titles have already released on Nintendo's System (not to mention the fact that they're also classic games).

Now coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network are Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star II, Comix Zone and Sonic The Hedgehog 3.

There's no indication of a release date for any of the titles, but as soon as we get wind of one, we'll let you know.
