225w ago - PlayStation Home Online Community Specialist Locust_Star announced that the Warhawk Game Space will hit PSN tomorrow along with some new Street Fighter IV virtual items as follows:
As you may or may not know, Warhawk is getting its own game space in PlayStation Home on Thursday, February 26th.
This space is a great example of the next level in Home's development - boasting serious interactive features from tactical furniture to game launching.
So on opening day we're inviting you all out to the new space to meet new people, strategize your next attack (using the interactive sand table), launch into the game, and commence the carnage.
This event will run from dawn to dawn, so when you get out of work, class, or a well-deserved nap be sure to log in and meet up with old clan members and new teammates alike.
You might even see me in there kicking some Eucadian butt (or Chernovan, depending on my mood). Look for a video walkthrough of the Warhawk Command Center with Dylan Jobe tomorrow morning!
If you were not yet aware, Capcom's newly-released Street Fighter IV is tightly integrated with Home, offering unlockable virtual items when users perform certain actions in the game. To help you keep up with the Joneses, we'll be dropping some hot...

254w ago - When I read this on Kotaku one bit jumped out at me that I think needs some exploration. You see, the piece gives some details about the 1.5 patch for Warhawk. They mention something's that are obvious, like trophies and custom soundtracks and some fun things like, new paint and insignia schemes.
Here's what I like, the brief mention of offline tutorials. I want to know how robust this new offline mode is. Are talking a few quick challenges? How about the ability to play against bots? Remember Bots?
There was once a time when all multiplayer games let you play alone with bots. It was great for learning maps and how to use weapons. This way when you went online you didn't play like an idiot when you hit a new map for the first time.
These days games are too cool, or developers are too lazy to add bots to their games, so they are a thing of the past. I don't know what the new mode in Warhawk is, but at least I won't have to wait too long to find out. Update 1.5 is set to come out August 27 per SCEE, although the page detailing this on Sony Europe's official Web site has been mysteriously deleted.
The patch is said to bring forth trophy support with over...
255w ago - Per Harvard Bonin (Senior Producer, SCEA): Its been quite a busy couple of weeks in Warhawk. We just released Warhawk on the PlayStation 3 Greatest Hits line. It's really a lot of fun for us to be included and we hope that a lot more players give the game a try. Check out this Training Video from Brady Games to help out these new players.
Also, we recently released Patch 1.4 and the Global Gaming League had its finals!
If you have been watching GGL's Warhawk tournament, you would know that the semifinal matches between Gods Illest, [WAR!], (ONI) and ARMED^ASSASSINS went down this weekend. However, instead of waiting a few days to schedule the finals, the victors, first-seeded [WAR!] and tenth ARMED^ASSASSINS, decided to play their finals match this weekend.
The end result? An upset by ARMED^ASSASSINS which knocked off [WAR!] and took the championship!
Congrats to ARMED ASSASSINS! We at Sony and Incognito recommend you steer clear of them in the game unless you like being shanked!

As the storm of E3 approaches, so does our next big update for Warhawk and with it comes 2 entirely new gameplay modes for every map, including the Booster Packs - and these new gameplay modes are completely FREE!
Before I get into the meaty list of updates, let me start off by saying that Warhawk v1.4 will have its global simultaneous release very, very soon... how soon you ask?
In just about 48 hours -- July 16th at 10:00 GMT (that's 3am Pacific)
When we started designing the new modes, we looked at play styles could freshen up the Warhawk play experience. After all, Warhawk is now almost a year old And after a few months of development and play testing, we're ready to rollout 2 new gameplay modes that the team and I are incredibly happy with: Hero and Collection.
New Gameplay Mode "Hero"
This is a team-based game mode in which one member of each team is randomly selected to be their team's Epic Hero. Players score points for their team by killing the enemy Hero or by killing enemies while they're the Hero. The team that reaches the score limit first (or has the most points when time runs out) wins the game.
Really what it all boils down to is a huge battle between...
