To quote: It's back! We are very excited to unveil patch 1.11 for UNCHARTED 3, which will be live for download by the end of May.

First of all, we can hail the long anticipated return of the Lab. However if your memory is fuzzy about what the Lab is, we first introduced it in UNCHARTED 2 multiplayer.

The Lab is a playlist featuring a unique series of multiplayer game types that our designers have concocted that focus on, above all, being fun. We're kicking things off with a T-bolt and Pistole only map. So once the patch drops later this month, log onto UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer and give it a whirl. Let the experiments begin!

59w ago - Sony PlayStation Network Executive Producer Kevin Furuichi is here with this month's Pulse 4/10 edition which features Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception PS3 DLC, Datura, and the Top 10 in March.

59w ago - Following up on their previous Uncharted 3 PS3 patch update notes, today Naughty Dog have revealed the version 1.09 changes outlined below.

To quote: Patch 1.09 will be deploying Monday April 9th 2012 (PST). Here is a rundown of all the changes we've made as we moved from 1.07 to 1.08 to 1.09.

The Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception 1.09 patch will be deployed April 9th 2012. It will roll out across all regions globally over 24 hours once deployed. We were able to get both patch 1.08 and 1.09 through the testing and approval processes around the same time. Therefore we are releasing them together. Since the changes are cumulative you'll only see an update for patch 1.09 when you download it.

Additionally, for those of you who prefer to watch video over reading the notes, we have made two videos detailing the changes in update 1.08 and update 1.09. These videos summarize the patch notes you'll read in this post. Videos such as these should be available for all patches moving forward. Hooray video!

59w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli announced today that a new Uncharted 3 New Drake's Deception PS3 Multiplayer Map Pack is incoming and will arrive on Tuesday with some video footage below.

To quote: You camped out on your favorite ledges to earn the kickoff medal on the Highrise and Yemen maps. You've mastered sniping fools that run carelessly through the Desert Village and Airstrip.

You've perfected your ninja stealth kills in the secluded nooks and crannies of the London Underground and City of Brass. Okay, maybe you haven't perfected any of that yet.

Maybe you're just looking for something different and new. Whether you're a rugged UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer fortune hunter or a causal explorer, this trailer should get you amped for Tuesday's new multiplayer map pack.

Four all-new UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer maps will be available for download on Tuesday, April 10th on PS Store. The Graveyard map sets you in motion as you fight among ships and shipping crates on rolling waves.

60w ago - Today Naughty Dog developer Eric-ND has announced that the Uncharted 3 PS3 patch 1.08 is incoming, however, he warns that users should save their Cinema files to YouTube before it goes live.

To quote from his post on the official PlayStation board: Save your Cinema Files now!

Hi, The next patch (1.08) is coming very soon. We'll have a full list of all the changes that will happen as soon as it's been fully tested and signed off. One very important item we want to inform you about right now is your cinema files.

As soon you update to the next patch all previous cinema files you had will not work and will crash the game. In other words any cinema files you recorded pre-patch 1.08 won't work once patch 1.08 is installed.

Therefore we recommend that you upload any cinema files you currently want to save to YouTube.

As for the exact timing on the patch we'll keep you updated here on the forums and via the Naughty Dog Blog as well as on our Facebook and Twitter. For now it'll be best to get in the habit of uploading your favorite cinema files to YouTube as often as you can.
