I'm very happy to announce that we will be bringing the game to the PlayStation 3 via PSN toward the end of this year!
Tales from Space: About a Blob is a game about a race of alien blobs that land on an Earth-like planet and start eating everything around them. Eating is just what Blobs do -- they can't really help themselves. Although the Blobs aren't really out to hurt anyone, mistrustful humans greet them with hostility.
The game is a side-scrolling puzzle-platformer with a monster-movie theme and retro art style. Humour is also a big part of the style.
Players will interact with the game environment using unique growth and absorption-related control mechanics, experiencing the world at vastly different scales as they progress. Both single-player and co-op play will be supported.
163w ago - Atlus USA Project Lead Clayton Chan has posted up two fresh videos today on the upcoming PSP exclusive RPG Hexyz Force.
To quote: I'm swinging by the PlayStation.Blog to talk to you about our upcoming PSP exclusive Hexyz Force.
Hexyz Force is an engrossing RPG that tells not just one, but two engrossing tales.
That's a lot of engrossing, folks. Either follow Levant von Schweitzer through a tale of political intrigue, war and racial tensions, or play as Cecilia Armaclite as she learns about embracing responsibility, love and friendship.
While most people would charge double the price for a value such as this, or possibly even tack on one of the tales as downloadable content, we are pleased to bring this game to you for the recession-friendly price of only $29.99! (A huge theoretical savings!)
While the two tales are playable as their own separate, self-contained games, playing them both will flesh out the main story and the universe more than you'd get out of just playing through the game as one character. So you have all the benefits of getting a different story with different party with different skills, yet you still have the joy of digging further and wringing every last drop of fun out of a game.
194w ago - The Tales of Vesperia PS3 official Japanese Site has been updated with a new trailer for the game, featuring a few new anime scenes, Mystic Artes and some event scenes viewed from different angles.
This third trailer is a bit similar to the second trailer released for the Xbox 360 version of the game.
It contains a few scenes viewed from different angles, a few new anime scenes and some of the second Mystic Artes of the main cast (plus one of Patty's Mystic Arte, though it's still unclear if she will be getting a Mystic Arte similar to those of the characters' Xbox 360 Mystic Arte batch). There's also a Repede racing minigame shown.
Tales of Vesperia's PS3 port will be released on September 17, 2009 in Japan and US localization has yet to be announced.

200w ago - A few weeks back a scan from V-Jump Magazine revealed Tales of Vesperia swimsuits, and today a scan from the latest Famitsu Magazine unveils some new details.
The game includes a new character, Patty Fleur, along with new bosses such as Sword Dancer.
Apparently the character Flynn is now playable for more that just one battle, the game will be fully voiced and will include fresh scenes such as Yuri fighting Don Whitehorse when the party visits Keiv Moc.
To quote: Although we knew of the rest of the characters, we had yet to learn of Karol Capel's bathing suit-themed costume title.
It is entitled Energetic Beach Boy, and features Karol in swim trunks with a scuba mask on his head, along with the goggles.
