Video: Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit Terrorises PS Plus Next Month

107w ago - SEGA Digital Campaigns Manager Mike Kebby has shared some video footage today of Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit which will be hitting PlayStation Plus next month.

To quote: It's been some months since we first announced the latest digital title welcomed into the [Register or Login to view links] family, Hell Yeah!

Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, and I thought it was finally time to visit the PlayStation Blog and reveal more about our exciting* new game.

*Exciting can also be taken to mean: insanely creative, off-the-wall, bonkers, delirium inducing, and as many other unnecessary descriptive phrases as I can muster

Hell Yeah! puts you in control of Ash, a devil rabbit and the prince of Hell. In a storyline that I'm sure most blog readers will empathise with (well, maybe), Ash is the victim of a vicious smear campaign, as somebody posts sordid bath-time images of him up on the 'Hell-ternet'.

So, at its core, Hell Yeah! is a tale of revenge - a story of the little-man standing up for himself. That this little-man is in fact a devil rabbit, and the prince of Hell, just gives it a little more edge. In fact, Ash wants to ensure that everybody who has seen the photos suffers, which is where you step in.

As you can see from the above below, Ash does have...

Video: Assassin's Creed III for PlayStation 3: It's Time To Rise

117w ago - Ubisoft EMEA Senior Brand Manager Camille Aneas has posted up a new video trailer today for Assassin's Creed III on PlayStation 3 dubbed It's Time To Rise below!

To quote: For freedom to rise, the oppressor must fall.

Blood will be shed, sacrifices will be made, but the idea we all fight for will live on forever.

Assassin's Creed 3 shows us that the smallest action can spark the flame that ignites the revolution: a soldier fighting for his country; a priest struggling with his faith to follow his beliefs; a mother willing to kill to protect her children; a lone assassin, fighting for freedom and justice.

The strongest weapon against tyranny is the will of the individual... it's time to RISE.

118w ago - SideQuest Studios CEO Marcus Pukropski has announced today that PS3 RPG Rainbow Moon rises on PSN this July 10th alongside some new video footage below!

To quote: Rainbow Moon is our upcoming role-playing game for PS3. It's been nearly two years since we started working on Rainbow Moon, so we can hardly believe that the game releases on PSN in just over two weeks – it'll hit PlayStation Store on July 10th for $14.99.

If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you'll enjoy a 20% discount, paying just $11.99, for the first two weeks after launch.

The last time we spoke, I explained Rainbow Moon's battle system. This time, I'd like to give you some insight into the game's character development system.

Many gamers think that character development is just about battling and leveling up. While that's partly true in Rainbow Moon, there's a lot more that can make or break a game.

Aside from RPG standards like experience points and gaining levels, in Rainbow Moon you can earn a resource called "Rainbow Pearls." You can exchanged these for improved character attributes or increased health and magic limits.

This system gives you a certain freedom in how you'd like...

229w ago - There have been countless PSP2 rumors in circulation, from forecasted features to the graphics chip, but according to MCVUK.com (linked above) it appears that analysts may be correct as the PlayStation Portable 2 is rumored to be Sony's big surprise at E3 2010.

To quote: "MCV has been informed of a significant increase in marketing spend at two key publishers for Q4 2010. At a time when the PSP is languishing in Western markets - and its most recent iteration, the PSPgo, is falling flat - it is being speculated that publishers are laying the ground for an offensive on a brand new iteration of Sony's handheld.

Another publisher has also told MCV that it is waiting on a specific announcement from the platform holder before it can reveal of its future PSP plans until, though it did allude to the ongoing development of several unnamed titles behind closed doors.
