Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut on PS3 and PS Vita is Dated

49w ago - Curve Studios PR and Marketing Manager Rob Clarke has announced release date details for Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut on both PS3 and PS Vita below today.

To quote: Hey everyone, Rob here, representing the fine men and women of Curve studios in London. I'm very happy to announce that Lone Survivor will be out this coming Tuesday, the 24th of September.

Lone Survivor was originally released for the PC last year by indie developer Jasper Byrne. After eight months of work with Jasper on the PS3 and PS Vita versions, we're very happy to say that we've created the definitive version of this game.

Jasper describes the game as a "Psychological Survival Adventure." It has all the hallmarks of classic survival horror games - high on atmosphere and low on available sources of ammunition.

Players can choose to use stealth or firepower to deal with the monsters in Lone Survivor. Depending on player choices, the game can play out very differently, with many optional scenes and different endings.

For the PlayStation version, we started with simple upgrades, like adding touch support on Vita and improving the lighting system... and things spiralled from there!

We've added over twenty new items, new endings, and new game locations. All of them have been...

Video: Atomic Ninjas Release Date and Price Revealed, New Trailer

100°
49w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska posted up a fresh PSN video trailer today alongside revealing both the release date and pricing information for Atomic Ninjas on PS3 and PS Vita below.

To quote: Hey everybody, this is Jakub from Grip Games. Our newest game, Atomic Ninjas, is almost ready, and I return today to finally announce the release date and price!

Atomic Ninjas will be launched for PS3 on October 8th for $9.99! It will launch on PS Vita one week later, and it'll be cross buy.

With that said, let me introduce you to the craziest and most hilarious feature of the whole game. It's something we've been looking forward to show you for a very long time: the Noob Rage.

Sometimes, the biggest loser in the whole match who's getting massacred by all the other players, is given a very unfair chance for sweet revenge.

He'll become a raging, screaming, unstoppable hulk for a few seconds - an absolute ruler of the game who dominates the arena. When you see that one of the other players has turned into the Noob, you only have one strategy to use: run for your life! Hilarity ensues.

As if Atomic Ninjas wasn't a crazy enough game, the Noob Rage is pure chaos. The player who gets this advantage can use it to increase their score, or he can use it...

50°
53w ago - Sony Associate Producer Dais Kawaguchi posted up a new Rain video trailer today alongside revealing the official release date and PS3 pre-order bonuses below.

To quote: Today, we're very excited to announce that rain will launch on October 1st on PlayStation Store for $14.99 in North America! To celebrate the news, we're sharing the second developer diary from the team at Japan Studio and PlayStation C.A.M.P., so watch and enjoy.

From the early stages of the production cycle, we've always felt that music is one of the most important elements in creating the world of rain. In this developer diary, Yugo Kanno – who handled all aspects of the composition and arrangements – explains what initially inspired him when introduced to the project, and his experiences while composing the music.

We were also extremely fortunate to work with Connie Talbot, an up-and-coming vocalist from the UK who made her debut on Britain's Got Talent back in 2007. In the interview seen in the video, Connie shares her excitement and the unique challenges faced during the recording.

We're also pleased to announce a pre-order that you can pick up now until September 30th on the PlayStation Store that will offer a few pieces...

53w ago - Following previous rumors and their Gamescom 2013 Press Conference, Sony has officially confirmed that the PS4 / PlayStation 4 release date will be on November 15, 2013 in North America (US and Canada), on November 29, 2013 in Europe and on February 22, 2014 in Japan.

Right from the start of the conference, aspects of the new console's menu system was on display, showing a modified Cross-Media Bar that seemed to focus more on games in related content than multiple static menus and the new controller based keyboard that uses a free-moving crosshair than the current setup.

Additionally, President and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House confirmed that gamers who have already bought the PS3 version of specific games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Watch Dogs will be able to purchase the PS4 version for a severely discounted price. Sony did this to "reward gamers for their loyalty" and to ensure the system is as "simple and accessible as possible."

The PlayStation 4 will launch in a total of 32 territories around the world by the end of...
