This 2.5D competitive shooter/platformer is going to be one of the most insane experiences you'll ever have with your PS3 and PS Vita! You'll fight in arenas full of danger against crazed ninjas in intense and funny matches. In order to win, you'll have to outsmart and outflank your opponents.
As you can see in the trailer, you cannot directly kill other ninjas (thanks to massive amounts of radiation and their healthy lifestyle). But there are dozens of conveniently placed hazards, like lasers, lava pits and fire that will do the job! You just need to find a way to get your opponents there and not become a roasted turkey yourself!
To help you in this uneasy task, we have added lots of weapons and super abilities. You'll be able to become invisible, fly on a rocket, use telekinesis, become an unstoppable hulk for a few moments, and many...
26w ago - Co-creator Richard Hogg made available a video from E3 2013 today unveiling Hohokum for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms below.
To quote: Hello there! It has been about a month since we announced that Hohokum will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita next year.
At the time I mentioned that we would have some gameplay footage coming soon... and here it is! It features lots of new gameplay footage as well as a close look at some of the characters from the game.
These bits were fun to make as they bring together lots of characters who never actually meet in the game. They seem to be getting on ok though, particularly Brollygirl and the oil-can guy. Gonna have to watch those two.
If you missed our previous announcement, Hohokum is a colorful, charming and whimsical game made by myself, Richard Hogg (I am an artist and illustrator) and Honeyslug, a London based game studio. It was an IGF and IndieCade finalist in 2011.
Hohokum will be playable at E3 in a few different locations including the PlayStation booth and the marvelous IndieCade booth. Look forward to seeing a bit more about Hohokum coming...
26w ago - Quantic Dream Director David Cage announced news today on The Dark Sorcerer: a next-gen comedy at E3 2013 alongside a video trailer below.

In 2005, Quantic Dream started working on a short film in real-time 3D called The Casting, using the PS3 graphic engine we had just developed.
Our initial objective was to make a technical prototype to test the limits and performance of this new engine, but Sony, with whom we had not yet started working, quickly encouraged us to present it publicly at its booth at E3 in order to illustrate the graphic potential of the PS3, which was launched that same year.
Everything we learned from making the short, particularly the immense difficulty of creating emotion in real time, but also the importance of the actor's performance, facial motion capture, the challenge of lip synchronization and especially eye animation, would enable us to develop Heavy Rain.
After this somewhat fortuitous first effort (which succeeded in attracting the attention of the press and players, and largely contributed to creating interest in the small French company that is Quantic Dream), the idea of making it a recurrent principle quickly developed.

Polyphony Digital worked closely with Yokohama Rubber Corporation to produce a new tire model that reflects the tire compound, tire structure and changes in characteristics during extreme load conditions.
Improving the overall look of GT6 is Adaptive Tessellation, the next generation in 3D model rendering technology. Tessellation involves dividing a polygon into multiple geometric tiles; Adaptive Tessellation takes that science one step further by automatically dividing the polygons to become finer according to the viewing distance and position.
