71w ago - Sony Online Entertainment Producer Oliver Smith has confirmed today that the Payday: The Heist Wolfpack DLC will be hitting PlayStation Network next week.
To quote: Attention PAYDAY crew! Wolfpack, the first PSN downloadable content for PAYDAY: The Heist, is coming to North America next Tuesday, August 7th.
We've been busy casing some new jobs for you, with Wolfpack featuring two never-before-seen epic heists - Undercover and Counterfeit.
The Undercover heist forces players to drive away the pesky police interrupting a back alley deal, while the Counterfeit heist pressures players to use silenced weapons to keep whistle-blowing civilians from escaping an underground money printing gig. If they tell the 5-0, they'll blow the whole operation!
We're also arming you with new weapons and crewmembers to ensure the job goes smoothly. These new heists require advanced skills, but award bigger payouts. Key features of the Wolfpack DLC include:
• New Weapons: Spray some lead on the move with the all-new auto handgun and assault rifle, or blow away tenacious foes with the shiny new grenade launcher. Need someone to watch your back? Release the deployable sentry gun to take out your enemies.
• The Technician: Based on the character Wolf, the technician...
86w ago - Today Sony game creator Shawn McGrath has revealed the secrets of PSN's Dyad to fans as part of a new video trailer below.
To quote: Last week in New York City I was fortunate enough to show off Dyad, the almost-ready-done-really-soon-I-promise game coming to PSN for PS3. During our NYC showcase, the crew was kind enough to stop by and conduct a quick Q&A and gameplay session, and you can watch the results in this new original video.
Each of the game's 27 different levels touch upon a variety of mechanics and goals: forming long combos, racing, surviving as long as possible, hitting certain top speeds and more.
And the game's 26 special Trophy levels have challenging alternate goals, whether it's playing just by using sound or collecting objects as quickly as possible.
Since each level has a corresponding leaderboard to track online rankings, Dyad boasts a huge number of leaderboards - 52 in all, each requiring a unique set of skills to master.
I also wanted to mention that David Kanaga did the game's interactive music. Here's his Dyad EP, and you can hear more of his interactive music here.

To quote: Seems like we were just watching David Freese and the St. Louis Cardinals make a dramatic comeback to beat the Texas Rangers in 7 games to win the 2011 World Series.
And now, here we are, standing in the on-deck circle of the 2012 season waiting to see who will step up and lead their teams into the playoffs and become this year's World Series hero.
And, just in time for the opening series games between the Athletics and Mariners in Tokyo, all the Major League Baseball action can once again be watched with the new 2012 MLB.TV application for the PS3, now available on PSN.
Just like last season, the MLB.TV app gives you access to high-quality HD, live and archived games, home and away broadcasts, as well as an array of interactive features designed to take advantage of the PS3 system's technical prowess. If you're a MLB.TV Premium subscriber, you can access all available Spring Training games.
You can view a walk through of the application highlights here and read more about what you'll see with this year's MLB.TV service below:
97w ago - Today Co-Op Producer Andreas Gschwari has introduced the PS3 demo of Syndicate, which arrives on PlayStation Network today!
To quote: Syndicate, as you probably know by now, is an FPS set in the classic universe first established by Bullfrog in 1993.
We have taken all the great story elements from the original game - the setting, the mood, the agents and above all the chips - and transferred into a much faster-paced and visceral game. Syndicate is not just your average FPS, though.
We did this by creating a gameplay mechanic called "Breaching," which effectively simulates an agent using his embedded military-grade DART 6 chip to interact with other chips in the world - whether they are located inside objects or human beings.
But it's not all about the chips. No FPS can do without providing the player with an arsenal of bad-ass weapons, and we had access to some excellent examples to work with from the original games, fortified with some ideas of our own.
You will find the usual suspects like sniper rifles, assault rifles and pistols, although you shouldn't expect them to be anything like you are used to from contemporary shooters. Some of the upgrades you are able to get will transform these seemingly standard weapons...
