2w ago - Sony Digital Distribution Senior Manager Pierre Gravereau announced today that a new Indie Games Category is coming to PlayStation Store today.

To quote: With innovative gaming experiences now more diverse than ever, PlayStation and Sony Network Entertainment are proud to stand behind indie-led development with the introduction of a new PlayStation Store "Indie Games" category coming later today.

This category builds on the support that PlayStation has offered independent developers in the effort to highlight some of the most unique gaming experiences on PlayStation platforms.

Most recently, we released four stellar independently developed games during our recent Spring Fever event on the PlayStation Store. We also showcased upcoming PS3 and PS Vita games from indie developers along with highlighting two new games coming to the PS4 during our recent Indie Arcade at GDC.

This new category will house all of our latest indie titles in one convenient place.

Be on the lookout for some of our greatest hits, including surreal puzzle title Unfinished Swan and award-winning PSN exclusive Journey.

2w ago - Following up on his previous updates, PlayStation 3 developer deroad (aka Wargio) has updated the PS3 homebrew store via PSChannel to version 1.10 adding language support with details below.

• Fixed tons of bugs
  
• Removed the "install theme feature" since no one makes themes for my homebrew
  
• Info section moved to main menu and can be seen by pressing SQUARE

• Added game update support with autodetection of games (NO homebrew support!! NO search mode, NO support for backups folders!!)

3w ago - It appears Sony has now enabled remote content downloads from their PSN / SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) Web store, allowing users to queue downloads to their PS3 or PS Vita console the next time they are powered on.

To add an item to your queue, simply purchase and download it via the Web store. The next time you turn on your system, the download will automatically start. If you’re a PlayStation Plus member and have items in your queue, the download will begin at your specified automatic update time.

To quote: An update for the SEN Web Store has been released which introduced a remote download feature. After making a purchase on the Web Store, you will now be able to place your content into a download queue for remote download to your PS3 or PS Vita device.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to take advantage of the automatic update function available through the Plus service to remotely download content purchased from the Web Store to your selected device during the regular automatic update.

If you do not have a Plus subscription, any content queued for remote download will automatically begin downloading and installing when the device is manually turned on.
