251w ago - This is Uncharted Drake's fortune for the PlayStation 3 gaming console. I just want to tell you in advance, that no matter what anyone says, if you are in the recommendations below BUY, THIS, GAME!
Uncharted is one of the best games you can get the PlayStation 3, it reminds me of Metal Gear Solid 4, Tomb Raider, and Jak & Daxter. So as you can see if you had to pick a from a combination of awesomeness, chances are you would end up with Uncharted.
But Uncharted is much more then just a cheesy knock off of those 3 games. The storyline (although reminds me of Jak & Daxter) is one of the best on the current generation of consoles.
You follow 2 main characters (Nathan Drake & Elena fisher) as they search for a 500 year old treasure Nathans ancestor left behind and their only clue is a old treasure map they found in his grave.
Once you get 3 hours into the game a large amount of the plot unfolds but trust me, what I leave out due to spoiling is great. In fact if you liked the Jak & Daxter storyline and game play, I can almost reassure you that you will like this game.
The game play is what it took from Metal Gear Solid 4 and Tomb Raider. Not a plain copy I still believe that Metal Gear Solid 4 had...
254w ago - Pain for the PlayStation 3 gaming console is quite the unique game. However I don't feel it's up to par with some of the other games on the PlayStation Network store.
The main problem I have with the game is the fact that although the game is $10 in the U.S. they only give you 1 level to start with. This bugs me as a gamer because I believe for $10 I should get a little bigger game for what I paid for it.
My second complaint is about the game play. Although is really fun when you have a few buddies over for a beer, it just seems repetitive after time. Granted the 2 player is cool, it doesn't make up for the short comings of the 1 player.
Although you can buy add-on levels, I don't believe they are worth their price. Abusement park is almost the exact same thing as d-town.
Movie studio is a little bit better about this, but like the other levels it just becomes repetitive.
Honestly, other then the 2 player I can't find anything I like about PAIN. I'm sorry to those of you who like the game, but I just can't recommend a game to someone that I don't like.
260w ago - Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, and Little Big Planet, To me? Those are filler compared to the massive game known as Fallout 3.
This game could easily be called game of the year 2008 by everyone. Why? Because of 2 words, Open Environment. Fallout 3 may not have Online game play, or a chainsaw to hack people up with (Actually it does =D), but it does have what I consider to be the MOST important aspect of games this generation for the PlayStation 3.
Free roaming games have been my personal favorite from the start. But Fallout 3 goes above and beyond the call of duty, making a map nearly the size of Oblivion. But not only that, they gave us guns and a first person view. Making this the first game I have ever seen that is free roaming AND a first person shooter.
As for the plot, Your "born" in a "vault" which is a nuclear fallout shelter, you grow up until you leave the vault at 19. Inside the Vault you decide your Gender, Character looks, S.P.E.C.I.A.L., Skills, and a small amount of your Karma.
After you leave the vault you can pretty much do whatever you please. As you continue however, your level will advance through "experience points". This is where the RPG aspect of the game comes in. Every time you "Level up" You get a set amount of skill points, as well as 1 free perk. These...
