Alternative VSHMenu v6.1 Plug-In for PSP Released!

326w ago - Red Squirrel has updated his Alternative VSHMenu plug-in for PSP today. For those who are unaware, this is designed to be used on units equipped with PSP Custom Firmware.

Changelog v6.1/v6.0:

- Fixed a bug that disabled the first plug-in in VSH.txt when you exit from the VSHMenu.
- Added FIVE new background colors
- Now Alternative VSHMenu can not be started before of 3 seconds: in this way you can avoid console crashes when you accidentally start it during coldboot or returning from games.
- Now there will be a pause of about one second when you exit from A. VSHMenu: in this way your key pressing will not have any effect on XMB (like happened in past).
- Changed HIDE MAC ADDRESS function in AUTO USB CONNECTION: if you enable it, USB connection will be enable always in XMB! In this way when you connect a USB cable your PSP will be connected to your PC/PS3 without you have to press on special icon! (like in PSP-3000).
- Changed CXMB PLUG-IN function in LANGUAGE: now you can select your language from the menu of A. VSHMenu! In this first version, there will be only two language: Italian and English.

331w ago - Nefarious has released an update to Cross Extended, a custom firmware 4.01 M33 compatible plug-in that displays detailed system information to users regarding their PSP, such as the motherboard type, battery voltage, and installed plug-in modules.

Version 1.2 features a reboot and shutdown function, as well as a slightly revamped user interface and configurable shortcut keys that can be modified by editing the included ce_config text file.

332w ago - Nefarious has released an update to Cross Extended, a Custom Firmware 4.01 M33 compatible plug-in that displays detailed system information to users regarding their PSP, such as the motherboard type, battery voltage, and installed plug-in modules.

In addition to a bug fix regarding Memory Stick cards with more than 4GB capacity, version 1.1 fixes a control issue that caused an incompatibility with certain homebrew applications – notably LightMP3 and PSPFiler.

332w ago - Nefarious has released a new Custom Firmware plug-in dubbed "Cross Extended," which displays detailed system information to users regarding their PSP.

As shown in the screen capture below, information covered includes the motherboard type, battery voltage, and installed plug-in modules.

Once installed, the plugin can be accessed while running a game or in the XMB. Additionally, it is possible to take a screenshot of the system information screen by pressing Note + R.

FuSa Custom Firmware Plug-In Build 47 for PSP released!

332w ago - Andy_maN has released an update to FuSa, a custom firmware plug-in that enables Slim owners to play PSP games on any television regardless of the input cable used - composite, component, S-video, or D-terminal.

Build 47 features configurable hotkeys, "SpeeDBooster" support for emulated PSone titles, and the ability to alter screen position. Additionally, a detailed readme file in PDF format has been included in this release.
