Ubisoft Announces Tetris Ultimate is Out Today on PlayStation 4

6d ago - Ubisoft Producer Adrian Price announced that Tetris Ultimate is out today on PlayStation 4 with details below.

To quote: Hi, I'm Adrian Price, a producer at Ubisoft and I'm very happy to be able to give you a glimpse of what to expect in Tetris Ultimate for PS4.

It's been a privilege to have helped create the latest version of a title that practically everyone knows about. A year ago we started thinking about how and what we wanted the game to be and I think we've added some great features players are really going to enjoy.

The game is filled with challenges that will reward you with Trophies. Some are quite difficult to get, but practice makes perfect. Then we have the ranking system where you are awarded 'belts', like in martial arts. I've been privileged enough to see a couple of people obtain a black-belt, and it's quite an impressive sight to see how they play the game at the level they do.

If you're not able to play online, which is just one way of playing each of the six modes within the game, or want to practice your skills and get your own black-belt, we've given you the ability to play against the AI Tetribots. There are four of them and they range from the Apprentice - which even I can beat - to the Master Tetribot. If you can beat this guy even once, you know...

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD Leaps to PlayStation Vita Today

100°
6d ago - Oddworld Inhabitants Community Manager Wil Bunce-Edwards announced that Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD leaps to PlayStation Vita today.

To quote: Hey PlayStation fans. We're excited today to announce that later today we'll be releasing Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD onto PS Vita via PlayStation Store.

For those that don't know the game, Abe is back after starring in the first two Oddworld games (and this year's Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty on PlayStation 4), but now he's playing second fiddle to a new hero called Munch. Munch is a Gabbit, and the last of his kind. As their guardian angel, it's your destiny to bring his species back from the brink of extinction.

Munch and Abe's destination is Vykkers Labs, a floating pharmaceutical station running all sorts of grizzly experiments on Oddworld's cutest critters in the name of a better fabric softener. It's here they'll find not only stockpiled Mudokon eggs on sale to factory owners as cheap labor, but also the last can of Gabbiar, the disgusting delicacy that is raw Gabbit eggs.

On their way they'll infiltrate factories and bankrupt the CEOs by donating to a corrupt charity that's funding their latest Oddysee.

Munch's Oddysee carries many similar themes and mechanics to Abe's Oddysee, including the planned extinction of...

Road Not Taken Free PS4 Update is Out Now on PlayStation 4

6d ago - Spry Fox CEO David Edery announced that the Road Not Taken free PS4 update is out now on PlayStation 4 with details below!

To quote: Hi folks! We're pleased to announce the first major (free!) update to Road Not Taken is hitting your PS4s now! There's a lot of goodies in here, the most notable of which include:

• "Easier" mode and hard mode: many people have told us that while they love the original gameplay and the art in Road Not Taken, the game is simply too difficult for them. After chewing on this feedback for a while, we decided to split the game into two modes, Normal and Hard.

"Hard" is basically our original mode with just a few tweaks; "Normal" is a new mode that is more generous with energy and has less crowded (and therefore less difficult) rooms, among other changes.

In addition, checkpoints are now less punishing to use (in both modes), so players who felt like they were pointless before will hopefully find them more of a tempting gamble now.

• New "just for fun" Timed Mode: try to rescue all the kids within four minutes! You lose time whenever you take damage, and you add time to the clock whenever you eat food and rescue children. Timed Mode has no impact on your career, so it's a great way to enjoy Road Not Taken for a few minutes with limited...

6d ago - Ninja Theory Product Development Ninja Dominic Matthews announced today that the DmC: Definitive Edition is coming to PS4 on March 17th, 2015.

Below are the details, to quote: Hello PlayStation community, Dominic Matthews here from Ninja Theory. Today we're proud to announce that we're teaming up with Capcom again to bring DmC: Definitive Edition to PS4 on March 17th, 2015.

DmC: Definitive Edition does what it says in its name: it delivers the definitive DmC experience. We've revisited DmC: Devil May Cry and improved, optimized, and added to the game.

When creating the original DmC, there were improvements that we wanted to make, but never got the chance to. In DmC Definitive Edition, we've made those improvements.

We've taken on-board player feedback and implemented many of the most requested features. In addition, we've given DmC a full, next-gen makeover, with uprezzed graphics and a silky smooth running speed of 60 fps at 1080p. DmC Definitive Edition also comes bundled with all released DLC and a host of new modes.

Here are just some of the awesome new features of DmC: Definitive Edition:

• 60 fps and 1080p resolution - It looks and feels super smooth to play.

• Uprezzed Graphics - Including textures, characters, and cinematics.
