100°
68w ago - Sony Community Manager James Spafford has shared a fresh Tearaway video today inviting fans to unfold a new adventure this coming October 22 on PS Vita.

To quote: Tearaway will be available on shelves and on PSN October 22nd! We can't wait for you to get your hands on, and indeed in, our new game at the end of the year.

In Tearaway you'll journey through a vibrant, living papery world, with a plucky messenger who has a unique message to deliver - to you!

As the papery world of Tearaway unfolds in your hands, you'll be able to use your god-like powers to help your new messenger friend, iota or atoi, complete their very special delivery.

You'll uncover a magical dimension inspired by folklore, and built realistically from paper that unfolds and comes alive before your very eyes. As you explore this world you'll meet the papercraft creatures that live within it, help out strange new friends and encounter dangerous challenges.

We've designed the world of Tearaway to blend with our own through the unique features of the PS Vita, which allow you to help your messenger buddy to solve puzzles using the power of touch, literally breathe new life into this papercraft land, and reach up into the world using the rear-touch panel to see your fingertips appear inside...

505 Games: Indie Adventure Terraria is Coming to PlayStation Vita

100°
70w ago - 505 Games Producer David Welch has confirmed today that indie adventure Terraria is coming to PlayStation Vita.

To quote: Your voices have been heard, and it's my great pleasure to announce that after much discussion the teams at 505 Games, Engine Software, and Re-Logic have decided to continue our exciting journey together and bring Terraria to PS Vita!

That's right, folks - Terraria will be available to play anytime, anywhere. It's almost like we never sleep!

Ever since we announced that Terraria was coming to PS3, we've been overwhelmed by requests for a Vita version. We're tremendous fans of the PS Vita system, and with its touch controls, dual analog sticks, gorgeous display, and robust online features, it seemed like a natural fit. PS Vita is a great platform for digital games in particular, and we couldn't be more excited to be a part of it.

For those who haven't heard of Terraria, it's a sandbox adventure in the style of our favorite "Metroidvania" games - an indie darling on PC that has gathered an impassioned community and sold over two million copies.

As a sandbox game, it has all the endless possibilities you've come to expect - you can build with dozens of blocks and craft hundreds of items - yet it's unique in how easy it is to pick up...

72w ago - Amanita Design Founder Jakub Dvorsky has announced that acclaimed Indie adventure Machinarium is coming to PS Vita on March 26th, 2013.

Below are the details, to quote: We're thrilled to be bringing our acclaimed adventure title [Register or Login to view links] to PS Vita.

When the [Register or Login to view links] was released, we called it the best version of the game.

In it, we added lots of new features - like the ability to zoom in to get a closer look at the scene, magnetic hotspots, Trophies and more.

The Vita version makes no compromises. In fact, it's even better! It includes all the enhancements from the PS3 version, but we've added some new features to complement PS Vita's capabilities.

You can now control the game not only with the system's analog sticks and buttons, but also directly with your fingers on the touch screen and rear touch panel. We've improved the zoom feature too, so it's more convenient to play the game in a portable capacity.

200°
80w ago - Different Tuna Head of Fresh Produce Gordon Midwood has shared a video today showcasing Aquatic Papercraft PSN Adventure Derrick the Deathfin and announcing news of a 25% off discount this week.

To quote: You know that feeling in the pit of your stomach you get when you read the words "you know that feeling in the pit of your stomach you get"? Yes, that's the one.

The one you're feeling right now in the pit of your stomach. Well it's time to put that feeling to good use because Derrick the Deathfin is now 25% off for one week only!

Since his release in October last year, Derrick has been slowly building in reputation, garnering some great reviews and adoring fans along the way. Sales have continued to improve as the game becomes more known too which is great.

We know a PS Vita version would be super cool as well, we are still looking into that - is that something you'd be interested in? What's more, we have some ideas for a sequel that would see Derrick indulging in some intergalactic mischief...

Anyway, all of this positivity and mindless speculation has put us in such a good mood that we now intend to ruthlessly capitalise on the upswing in goodwill with a sale!

Since...
