To quote: As we begin the journey to the launch of God of War: Ascension on March 12, 2013, we want to further explore all aspects of the God of War universe to give you deeper insight into the creation, lore, design, and gameplay that's being poured into the game. The Titan cyclops Polyphemus - the gargantuan one-eyed son of Poseidon - is a brutal boss on our desert multiplayer map. He will literally crush you and your foes (repeatedly) until you earn enough favor from the Gods to be granted the Spear of Olympus - the only known weapon that can destroy Polyphemus.

143w ago - BBC Worldwide Executive Producer Simon Harris has shared some video footage today on creating monsters for Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock for the PS3 entertainment system.

To quote: Welcome to the second blog on Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock. I'm Simon Harris and I am the Executive Producer for BBC Worldwide on the game, which means the project is my overall responsibility.

I need to ensure that all aspects come together to make a great game that stays true to the Doctor Who brand. This means working with our developer, Supermassive Games, across areas such as design, art and programming. It also extends to working with the Doctor Who teams in London and Cardiff to ensure that everything looks and feels as it should.

For this blog post, I thought I would give you some insight into the monsters which will be appearing in the game. This goes alongside our first gameplay trailer, released today, which showcases them.

Choosing the monsters for the game turned out to be a more of a complicated process than you would imagine. Initially, when [Register or Login to view links] put in their design pitch for the game, they had chosen the four monsters they would like to see, both as Doctor Who fans and from a gameplay point of view.

234w ago - Today Q-Games Ltd President and Executive Producer Dylan Cuthbert has unveiled on Sony's PlayStation Blog that the PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe PSP UMD is now being offered for just $10.

To quote: We're happy to announce that today, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe makes its grand debut outside the PlayStation Network! Yes, that's right, due to popular request from you, the fans, we have twisted Sony's arm to release the game on UMD in North America.

Even better, we have squeezed the price down to just $9.99 which is an *amazing* value! Think about it: three islands and over 45 stages to play. As Monsters fans know, that means quite literally hundreds and hundreds of hours of incredible gameplay...every minute as addicting and fun as the last.

On top of that, full online play is supported. You can play cooperatively with anyone in the world, or just hang out in the chat rooms and watch the sports-like "ticker-tape" commentary of existing games run by. It's a very cool new feature, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

And of course, all the money we make from Monsters is being funneled into future PixelJunk games (we have some crazy stuff in store for you!), so that's an even greater incentive to jump to your local game retailer right now. Buy it for yourself, buy...
