Video: PlayStation Move Japanese Promo Showcases PS3 Lineup

216w ago - Today a PlayStation Move Japanese promotional video has surfaced which showcases a partial PS3 lineup for Sony's upcoming PlayStation 3 Motion Controller.

Although unconfirmed, a female silhoutte that walks, jumps and moves underneath the logo may be considered a mascot for Sony's Playstation Move.

The video hints at PS3 opening the door to a new dimension, and PS3 titles featured in the PlayStation Move video include the following, to quote:

• Big 3 Gun Shooting
• EyePet
• Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
• The Shoot
• Echochrome
• Tower
• Sports Champion
• Kung Fu Rider

Sony Confirms PS3 Q1 2010 Lineup: MAG, Heavy Rain & GOW III

244w ago - Today Sony has confirmed their PS3 Q1 2010 lineup, which will feature Massive Action Game (MAG), Heavy Rain and God Of War III among others.

With these three AAA titles and other exclusives, including White Knight Chronicles and SEGA's Yakuza 3, it appears Q1 will prove to be an expensive time for most PlayStation 3 owners.

According to [Register or Login to view links], the 256-player PS3 shooter MAG will be released on January 29, 2009.

The highly anticipated Heavy Rain is due to arrive in February, with a specific date to be announced later, and God Of War III is currently scheduled for a release in mid-March.

Finally, White Knight Chronicles is also slated for launch in February alongside SEGA's Yakuza 3 in March. It's definitely going to be a busy new year for Sony, with Gran Turismo 5, ModNation Racers and of course Final Fantasy XIII all heading to the PlayStation 3!

Consumers nationwide continue to snap up Nintendo products for the holidays, and Nintendo is poised to carry that momentum into 2010.

REDMOND, Wash., Dec. 14, 2009 - To bring a little color to the winter months, Nintendo will release two new colors for its Wii Remote™ controller. Starting Feb. 14, the controller will come in Pink or Blue and will be bundled with a Wii MotionPlus™ accessory. Along with the current White and Black versions of the controller, now every player in four-player matches can have his or her own color.

"During the holidays, tens of millions of Americans are going to spend enjoyable hours with both Wii and Nintendo DS," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "And the enjoyment will only grow in the early weeks of 2010, whether your taste in gaming comes from exploring ocean depths, catching, training and battling Pokémon or even designing your own micro-games."

70's Mustang Joins GT5 PS3 Lineup at the Gran Turismo Awards

251w ago - Sony's Public Relations Manager Alex Armour has unveiled today that a 70's Mustang has joined the GT5 PS3 lineup at the Gran Turismo Awards.

To quote: Two days ago, PlayStation hosted the 7th annual Gran Turismo (GT) Awards in Las Vegas, taking place in conjunction with the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show.

We had some impressive entries and a fantastic turnout at the ceremony, headlined by a live performance from the The Offspring at Rain nightclub inside the Palms hotel.

Kazunori Yamauchi - creator of the Gran Turismo franchise - chose a 1970 Ford Mustang from our Hot Rod category as our overall "Best in Show" vehicle, so a big congratulations to owners Todd Gartshore and Phil Koenan - get ready to see you car cruising around the virtual tracks of Gran Turismo 5!
