  • Click on theme.bat and wait the end of the process.
  • Copy the MM4PS3-BLES80608_00-MULTIMANAGER0440.pkg file on a usb stick and install on the PS3.

700°
90w ago - Today PlayStation 3 developer Mistawes has made available a guide on how to edit the PlayStation 3 epilepsy warning on PS3 CFW.

Below are the details, as follows: So it really bugs me to see this every time I boot up or reboot, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

So, to edit it yourself, do the following:

  • Download RCOmage ([Register or Login to view links] / Mirror) and extract somewhere suitable on your PC.
  • Now, while running your PS3, go into Multiman and enable dev_blind (4th last item in settings).
  • Go to file manager or FTP into dev_blind/vsh/resource and copy sysconf_plugin.rco to USB/PC.
  • Open the .rco in RCOmage where it says "RCO input" by selecting browse..
  • Set the output name to whatever you want, save as .xml and untick every box, other than "Seperate resource types" and "Decode VSMX scripts".
  • Now hit dump, and wait for it to finish. Then go to the folder you extracted to, into the "Text" folder and open "English.xml" - Or whatever language you
  • NOTE: I use Notepad++ (notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.3.2.html): and make sure encoding says UTF-8, but MS Notepad might work, but turn off "word...

Video: PS3 4.31 OFW to 4.30 Rogero v2.03 CFW with Flasher Guide

1300°
104w ago - Nearly two months after the previous update, today I have posted a guide and video on how to downgrade a PS3 4.31 OFW console (including CECH-300x slims) to 4.30 Rogero v2.03 CFW using a PS3 Hardware Flasher with no 3.55 needed.

Very easy tutorial. Follow the steps to downgrade a PS3, but when you get to the first step of the USB downgrading part after putting your PS3 into service mode, use Rogero 4.30 CFW v2.03 on the root of the USB with the lv2diag.self to downgrade instead of the 3.55.

So again, no 3.55 ever touches the PS3 during this whole setup! Doing this will also now allow CECH-300x models original slims to be downgraded to 4.30 CFW as long as it never touches 3.55

The whole reason for this was to find out if the E3 fits a CECH-400xx model super slim models, but all I needed was proof that you can downgrade from 4.31 to 4.30 CFW with a flasher.

So if any one out there has an E3 and a new super slim model please test this if it works! You can make back ups of the NOR incase it fails.

Here is proof you can but I still do...

The Dummy BDEmu occupies only 2MB on your USB device, then after you can partition the remaining space as you want.

To quote, roughly translated: How to Create and Emulate Dummy_BDEmu Your BD Player Broke on CFW DEX Tutorial

In this tutorial PS3ITA will guide you with all the necessary steps to achieve the "dummy_bdemu" directly from the console. This procedure is useful to all users who use a CFW DEX (debug / test) on a console that has the blu-ray disc broken or simply for those who do not want to wear the player's lens for intensive use.

In fact, the "dummy_bdemu" is to appear on the XMB icon BD player despite the absence of the disc, increasing, therefore, the compatibility of...

Atlus: A Beginner's Guide to Persona 4: Golden - Out Next Week

50°
111w ago - Atlus Lead Editor Mike Meeker has posted up a beginner's guide to Persona 4: Golden today, which is due out next week in stores and on PSN.

Below are the details, as follows: Greetings, readers and [Register or Login to view links] fans!

I'm aware that some PlayStation RPG fans still haven't heard of Persona 4 Golden, the latest in ATLUS' best-selling Persona series, which hits North American store shelves and PlayStation Network on November 20th.

So what is Persona? Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is Metacritic's PlayStation 2 Game of the Year for 2008. Persona 4 places you in the shoes of a high school student who needs to strike a balance between school, a social life, learning more about his family, and, as it happens, investigating a series of gruesome murders that may or may not involve a psychedelic world that lies behind the screen of every television in town. Whether beating up Shadows or tackling schoolwork, the choices you make will come to affect how others see you, and how you see yourself.

In both Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden, you play as transfer student (insert name here) who moves to the sleepy country burg of Inaba. When you arrive, things quickly take a turn for the weird when you learn of a series of murders taking place in the town. You decide to...
