231w ago - A rather frustrating game ending glitch has been found in Left 4 Dead on the Xbox 360. It essentially ruins to the game, just skip to about 4:30 on the first video below to view the glitched part.
Additionally, gamers are complaining that Gears of War 2 should have had more testing on it prior to release due to the glitch in the second video below.

From the video captions respectively:
Ok my team and I were coming up in the elevator in the hospital and when the elevator door opened this electrical box wagon thing was blocking our way, we don't know how this happend (maybe the zombies may had moved it?), but we eventually got out cause this zombie moved it (lol).
We also had a forklift blocking our way at the construction site and we were like "WTF!", but we went around (That was some crazy stuff though).
It's just ridiculous for a game based on cover system, that's a huge issue... EPIC FAIL!
231w ago - At the Spike TV VGA's, Epic Games announced that a new Map Pack would be available for purchase on XBox Live that night. For most games this would be a good thing.
For Epic's new Gears of War 2 and its "broken multiplayer" (as dubbed by some) the news created an instant backlash. Gears 2 was released just a little over a month ago to rave reviews and huge sales.
Initially fans seemed pleased, but quickly a growing number of gamers began to complain of Multiplayer glitches that affected the game so much that some considered the multiplayer broken.
One example that is commonly heard is, enemies being able to basically sit on respawning spots and kill their opponents over and over again. Some fans have been left to stew in anger. Last nights announcement was like putting salt in wound. Message boards instantly started to see chatter of anger at Epic.
The consensus is that Epic should have fixed the problems before releasing any new Map Packs. Another point of anger was the fact that the game just came out. Many Xbox 360 gamers share the point of view that these maps should have just been included in the games release.
Meanwhile there has been no word out of Epic Games on these matters. It may be sad to say, but this type of thing is becoming all too relevant in...
233w ago - In the gaming world exclusivities have become all but obsolete. So it should come as little surprise that analysts are stating the future of Epic's gaming giant, Gears of War, will be bright on all fronts of the console war.
Analyst Michael Pachter, who is well known throughout the gaming industry for his insight to the future of gaming, has stated "we pretty much know that Gears of War 3 is probably gonna come out on PS3."
Pachter is going off the idea that things today aren't exactly exclusive, they're only set aside for a set amount of time. If this holds true, PS3 gamers will get a chance to see just how much they've been missing.
As gamers of all three major systems, we welcome multiplatform any day. The console war is getting down to the point of 'who's system has the better technology', and steering clear of 'who has the better games'.
Either way this one ends up, Gears of War has cemented it's place in the hearts of gamers everywhere. Regardless of which system this ends up on in the future, it's sure to have one heck of an outcome and a very profitable future.
236w ago - Rod Fergesson, the Senior Producer from Gears of War 2 has outlined on the official forums (linked above) the problems with their online matchmaking service and acknowledges that and patch will be released in the near future to counter the issues.
To quote: We're aware that some folks are experiencing longer-than-ideal wait times while using the skill-based Public matchmaking in Gears 2 multiplayer.
We're working on some solutions but it's a complicated issue as there isn't any one problem; it's a combination of factors. Clearly, scale is one of them as we've had millions of successful matches played online so far, however a small percentage of players are having issues, which is unacceptable.
We're working closely with Microsoft to address the matchmaking issues, I promise you that it is our #1 priority, and we hope to have an update soon.
In the meantime, I would like to suggest some workarounds:
If you're experiencing long delays (longer than 2 minutes) or you're seeing your matchmaking search restarting over and over again, please try a different playlist as that indicates a possible population issue with the currently selected one.
The problem seems to be heightened for parties of 1 and parties of 4 so please try to invite at least one friend...
