Below are the details alongside a video trailer, as follows:
A new set of tables will be available for download in Star Wars Pinball and Zen Pinball 2 in just two weeks! Last week we unveiled details on the Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi table. Next up, check out the details on the Starfighter Assault table.
The biggest Star Wars space battles come to life on the Star Wars: Starfighter Assault pinball table. You must choose to support the Rebel Alliance's Fleet or the Galactic Empire's Armada as they complete missions while dodging turret fire and destructible ramps!
As missions are completed, you will earn Fleet Upgrades that can be spent to upgrade the fleet, fighters and turrets. In addition, you will be able to advance the rank of their pilot as they progress through the table!
The table includes legendary Starfighters like the X-wing and TIE fighter, along with iconic vessels like the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star II.
There is a third table in the pack, some guy named Darth Vader... maybe you've heard of him?...
10w ago - Following up on their previous updates, today Sony's SVP has given PlayStation 4 fans more insight into the PS4's noise level, power consumption, media performance and more below.
To quote from DualShockers.com (linked above): "Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia Senior Vice president and Director of Business Unit 1 Masayasu Ito isn't as well known as Shuhei Yoshida between PlayStation fans, but given his technical role he's the best person to ask about some of the most technical aspects of the upcoming PS4.
Today he gaver some extremely interesting information about the console as part of an interview on the Japanese tech site AV Watch.
Here's a summary of the most relevant points:
While being always online is not necessary, a network connection is important to fully enjoy the features of the PS4.
The PS4 will initially act as a stand-alone web server for the PlayStation App. In the future there's the possibility of this to be expanded through the cloud, with the PS4 and PlayStation App interacting through the cloud, allowing cooperative...
11w ago - Sparpweed Creative Director Richard Boeser announced today alongside a video that Ibb and Obb on PSN has been updated complete with enhanced features and performance.
To quote: It's been about a month since we launched Ibb & Obb, our two-player, cooperative puzzle platformer.
Since the launch, we've been working on a patch to fix some bugs that players found, but also to add some features based on the feedback we got.
The most requested feature was to have indicators showing where players are when they fly off screen. Those are now in, along with d-pad support for those of you who prefer that to the analog stick. Also, we managed to improve general performance quite a bit - now everything runs at 60 FPS in full HD, with anti aliasing on.
For us, some of the most interesting things of the last month are the Let's Play videos that pop up. Often made by players that dive into the game without having played it before or knowing much about it. From a game designer point of view these videos are extremely useful.
We've seen a lot of people play during development, but it's different when players know the game is still unfinished or when they can ask you questions directly. The Let's Play videos feel more real. They show the published product and are often recorded...

15w ago - Today at Gamescom 2013 Metanet Co-Founder Mare Sheppard made available a video introducing fans to Ninja Platformer N++ for the upcoming PS4 / PlayStation 4 video gaming console.
To quote: Hello! We're Mare and Raigan from Metanet Software, and we're really excited to finally be able to announce that N++ will be coming to PS4!
One of the requests we get most frequently is a version of N for PlayStation, so we're delighted to reveal that yes, it's happening! And it's gonna be great.
If you haven't heard of us, we're the creators of N, N+ and now the upcoming N++. If you want to read more about those games, check out this post about their backstory.
Next year will mark the 10-year anniversary of N, which should tell you that we've been working on this series for a very long time. We've learned a lot about N over the years, and now it's time for us to take all the loose ends, crazy experiments, and things we never got a chance to do, and combine them all into one final version. Our goal is for this to be the definitive version, the one which we ourselves would want to play over all other versions: N++.
We can't wait to say more! In the meantime, the teaser trailer above should...
