159w ago - VidZone's Head of Production Ben Creasey has announced today news of The Noisia world premiere exclusively on PSN.
To quote: "If Van Gogh had heard this, he'd have cut off his other ear out of fear"...a quote from Drum & Bass superstars Pendulum when describing Noisia!
Noisia are the latest superpower from the world of Drum & Bass and 2010 should be a huge year for the trio comprised of Nik Roos, Thijs de Vlieger and Martijn van Sonderen.
Despite recently working on productions for The Prodigy, Kanye West, Moby, Hadouken! and Lupe Fiasco, Noisia have found time to release their debut album 'Split The Atom' which showcases their incredible talent by bringing the heaviest beats to the table and we're not even kidding that it will knock the entire music world off its feet!
So when we got wind of Noisia (with Mayhem ft. KRS One) working with the virtual design genius which is Alexander Lehmann (of District 9 Movie fame), we went crazy to get our mitts on their "Exodus" video. Lucky us and luckier you because we can now confirm that VidZone is exclusively bringing PlayStation 3 users the world music video premiere on Thursday at 3pm, a video phenomenon which has taken 3 YEARS to make!

186w ago - According to the latest Famitsu Magazine, R-Type 3D is coming exclusively to the PS3 console.
It appears that R-Type Final is indeed not the last in the series, according to distantmantra commenting on the latest Famitsu issue at NeoGAF: "There's something about a PS3 exclusive (?) R-Type 3D, and 3D Dot Game Heroes got 8/8/7/7."
For those unaware, R-Type is a side scrolling shoot-em-up arcade game produced by Irem. The player controls a space fighter named "Arrowhead" to defend humanity against a mysterious but powerful alien life-form known as "Bydo", which was later discovered to be not entirely alien in origin.
To quote from Examiner.com (linked above): "It is unknown whether the "3D" in title means that the game will take place in a 3D plane or whether it would be in a 2D plane with 3D graphics (a la R-Type Delta)."

211w ago - It appears Trinity Universe isn't the only RPG on the way from Nippon Ichi Software.
NIS America also revealed at their press event that the long-rumored RPG, Last Rebellion, will be coming exclusively to the PlayStation 3.
The game is in development at Hitmaker, the same guys behind the Crazy Taxi games.
Players can roam around the world field and make action movements like in an action game, but once you enter battle, you engage the enemy using a turn-based system. The game features the ability to target different body parts on an enemy to weaken that area (such as hitting their legs to slow them down).
The game revolves around the characters Nine and Aisha. Nine is a Blade, whose specialty is physical attacks, and Aisha is a Sealer, who uses magic spells to attack & seal enemies. Players will be able to switch between the two in battle, strategically choosing which attacks to unleash first.
Last Rebellion is due to release in Fall 2009.
