Sony Announces Journey and The Unfinished Swan Coming to PS4

1w ago - Sony Community Strategist Aaron Kaufman at Santa Monica Studio announced today that Journey and The Unfinished Swan are coming to PS4.

To quote: It's always fun to see what a new game console can do. Seeing as PlayStation 4 isn't even a year old yet, a few studios based in Santa Monica wanted to bring their award-winning games to the PS4.

Read below for the details on two very special announcements from two great studios that are part of the PlayStation family.

Experience Journey on PS4

Hi everyone, this is Jenova Chen, President and Creative Director of [Register or Login to view links]. It's been quite a ride seeing how far Journey has come in the two and a half years since its launch on PlayStation 3.

Thanks to the many referrals of our players over the years, we've seen a steady flow of new players discovering the game and a community of veterans helping them along the way. Many players who bought a PS4 wrote us wondering if they will be able to experience Journey one day.

Today we are happy to share that a whole new generation of players will experience the wonder of Journey when it comes to PlayStation 4 later this year.

Video: Unmechanical: Extended Edition Coming to PS4, PS3, PS Vita

2w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska posted up a video today announcing that Unmechanical: Extended Edition is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: Hi everyone! This is Jakub from Grip Games, the team that brought you The Impossible Game and the upcoming Jet Car Stunts.

It is my pleasure to be finally able to tell you about our next great project that we are working on right now - Unmechanical: Extended Edition for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.

Unmechanical, originally made by Talawa Games and Teotl Studios for PC, is a gorgeous puzzle platformer that won numerous awards for its visual design and, even more importantly, won the hearts of players all around the world. It now finally comes to the PSN in an extended edition that brings new puzzles and story, published by Grip Games.





If you have never heard of Unmechanical before, it may remind you of some of the classic games in the genre, like Limbo, Machinarium or the Oddworld series. You control a little flying robot that has been kidnapped into a strange underground complex.

Video: KillAllZombies PS4 is Coming Soon to PlayStation 4

2w ago - Beatshapers Founder and CEO Alexey Menshikov shared a PS4 video today announcing that #KillAllZombies is coming soon to PlayStation 4.

To quote: We're excited to announce a new third-person action shooter called #killallzombies, coming to PS4 first.

In the distant future, #killallzombies is thrusting civilians into a sport of survival where a ravenous zombie population is unleashed in the name of sports entertainment, with television spectators voting upon how many zombies they want to uncage to make survival all the more difficult for you to accomplish - with the potential of a collective horde of more than 1,000 zombies.





The arena is comprised of hundreds of hexagonal tiles that are capable of totally changing the dynamics of the gameplay by altering the landscape.

For example, spawning new obstacles, such as various cars and knives and others; hexagons that cave in on themselves to create dangerous traps; hexagons that rise from the ground to create a blockade that may keep some zombies out, but also keep the player in. And there are many more ever-changing gameplay dynamics.

Video: Music Festival Sim BigFest is Coming to PS4 and PS3

2w ago - Sony Associate Project Manager Nick Accordino announced today that Music estival Sim BigFest is coming to PS4 and PS3 platforms with details and a video below.

To quote: We recently brought you news of our festival management and music discovery game BigFest, where players build their own mega festivals by discovering and promoting real-world, unsigned bands.

Well... we are very excited to announce that the game will also be coming free to play for both the PS4 and PS3!





For PS4, we are taking the Vita version and giving it the next gen makeover - full 1080p resolution, running at 60fps. The game will support Cross Save, so you will be able to play your game out and about on your PS Vita, then come home and carry on exactly where you left off on your PS3 or PS3.

The game itself will have hours of fun gameplay that will satisfy your music discovery and festival gaming needs. We want players to build the biggest, baddest music festivals they can possibly imagine, while discovering and promoting real musicians.

Discovering top talent and selecting the best headliners are just a couple of the important responsibilities players will manage to get the all-important festival 'vibe' up!!
