45w ago - Sony PlayStation Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe revealed January 2014's PlayStation Plus content updates, which feature DmC, Soul Sacrifice and Borderlands 2 among them below.

To quote: Hi everyone! It's time again to share details of all the goodies coming your way as part of PlayStation Plus over the next month. We've got a brand new PS4 game, two huge PS3 titles and two cracking PS Vita games to keep you entertained over the festive period.

PlayStation 4 (From 8th January)

Making its console debut is the beautifully crafted Don't Starve from Klei Entertainment (Shank, Mark of the Ninja). Set in a world of science and magic, Don't Starve is a wilderness survival game where you play as Wilson an intrepid gentleman scientist who is trapped by a demon and transported into this dark and mysterious world.

You must learn to exploit the environment and the inhabitants you will encounter if you want to have any chance of getting back home!

And don't forget, a PlayStation Plus membership will also provide you with access to PS4 online multiplayer.

PlayStation 3 (From 24th December)

PlayStation Plus Update: Borderlands 2 Free for PS Plus Members

100°
46w ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer revealed this weeks PlayStation Plus updates today, which include Borderlands 2 free for PS Plus members.

To quote: Borderlands 2, one of 2012's most critically acclaimed titles, is entering the Instant Game Collection tomorrow. Pick one of four new vault hunters (I went with Maya the Siren) and grab your randomly generated weapon, 'cause a pesky psychopath called Handsome Jack is terrorizing the world of Pandora (but hey, he does it in style).

Borderlands 2 excels in co-op mode, so team up with up some friends to explore the land. There are plenty of things to mow down for experience points and nothing feels better than a rare loot drop, plus you can customize your character to dish out more damage or provide support for you & your friends.

You can take advantage of all these PS Plus benefits after PlayStation Store updates tomorrow.

Borderlands 2 (PS3)
Free for PS Plus members

A new era of shoot and loot is about to begin. Play as one of four new vault hunters facing off against a massive new world of creatures, psychos and the evil mastermind, Handsome Jack.

Make new friends, arm them with a bazillion weapons and fight alongside them in 4 player co-op or split-screen on a relentless...

61w ago - Gearbox Software Product Manager Adam Fletcher announced today at Gamescom 2013 that Borderlands 2 is coming to PlayStation Vita.

Below are the details, as follows: Hello travelers! The dream finally becomes a reality, as PlayStation, Gearbox Software and 2K announces today at Gamescom that the addictive first person shooter-looter mayhem of Borderlands 2 will be coming to PS Vita.

I watched as Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software, stood on stage at the Rezzed show in the UK a year ago and told fans that, with PlayStation's support, he'd love to see Borderlands 2 on PS Vita. For the last year, Gearbox Software, 2K, and PlayStation have been inundated with emails, tweets, forum posts and more from passionate gamers across the world pleading for a PS Vita version of Borderlands 2.

You spoke, we listened, and with the wonderful collaboration between 2K, PlayStation and the team at Iron Galaxy Studios - makers of indie fighting game Divekick - we can finally make Borderlands 2 on PS Vita a reality!

For those of you new to the critically acclaimed shooting-and-looting mayhem of Borderlands 2, which won more than 55 editorial awards in 2012, you'll be picking from four uniquely-skilled Vault Hunters - Axton the Commando, Maya the Siren, Salvador the Gunzerker...

Video: Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt Begins Today

50°
92w ago - Gearbox Software Writer Anthony Burch has announced alongside a video that Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt begins today.

To quote: Hey there, Anthony Burch from Gearbox here! Sir Hammerlock had told me that in the past he wrote his PlayStation fans a letter, so naturally when I mentioned I was writing this blog post he jumped at the opportunity to do it for me. Sucker! He's all book smarts.

Salutations, Vault Hunters!

Sir Hammerlock here, with a cracking proposal for you. Being the oh-so-well-armed badass you are, you've already saved the world, found a pirate's treasure, and spectacularly murdered your way to the top of a badass leaderboard or two. But.

Have you - he asked, pausing for dramatic effect - have you ever fought a Stalker the size of a small building? Have you ever fought a mystical shaman bandit who can level up his companions at will? Have you ever hunted down Scaylions, Boroks, Spores and Savages?

As you have not yet joined me on my excursion to the brutal continent of Aegrus, I shall pre-emptively answer on your behalf: "No, Sir Hammerlock," you say. "I have yet to do any of these things. Pray tell - how could a no-nonsense brigand like myself experience...
