Sony on Destiny PS4: PlayStation 4's Biggest Software Launch Yet

100°
10w ago - Sony Developer and Publisher Relations Vice President Adam Boyes revealed today that Destiny PS4 is PlayStation 4's biggest software launch yet!

To quote: What a week! Since [Register or Login to view links] launched one week ago, it has officially become the biggest PS4 game launch in North America ever.

The game broke records for being the fastest purchased and most played PS4 game during its first week on sale. In fact, last week was our single biggest PS4 hardware sales week since Christmas 2013! That's a lot of PS4s. Thanks, Guardians!

Destiny also racked up some impressive gameplay stats, with PS4 players across North America collectively accumulating more than 11 million gameplay sessions - that's a lot of Guardians! Destiny players have also made full use of PS4's social features; it was the most shared and most broadcasted PS4 game during its first week on sale.

From everyone at PlayStation, we want to say thank you to the fans - none of this would be possible without you! If you're like me you have been up until the wee hours of the morning playing 'just one more match' with your Fireteam (I'm still trying to get to 26 with my Warlock to prep for Vault of Glass!).

RPSDIR Automatic PS3 Files Resigner Homebrew App by Roor Arrives

12w ago - Today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Roor made available RPSDIR, which is an automatic PS3 files resigner homebrew application followed by a EBOOT/SELF/SPRX/SDAT 3.55 Resigner by bigjokker with details below.

To quote: I just took an hour from lunch, and made a tool that might help. It's named it RPSDIR (Resigner for PS Directories).

I used a bunch of older tools a coded for personal use (including NSCETOOL, which is a custom SCETOOL based on AES 256 CRT code and other stuff; it follows the same rules as the original SCETOOL). It was compiled with Visual Studio 2012, and other stuff.

It just allows you to select a directory, and it searches for all EBOOT.BIN, *.SELF and *.SPRX files, and resigs them with 3.41 keys.

Old (original) files are renamed as *.bak (ie: EBOOT.BIN becomes EBOOT.BIN.BAK). And "decrypted files" are renamed as "*.elf" (ie: EBOOT.BIN becomes EBOOT.BIN.ELF). Original files are automatically replaced by...
