We're so excited to welcome you back to PlayStation Network. With the PlayStation Store back online, we've been getting all caught up this week, having launched an abundance of amazing content for download on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable devices across games, movies, themes and DLC.

Today, we're excited to launch the Welcome Back program to thank you for your loyalty, and below, we've got what you need in order to get access to the included content. So, here's a list of questions about the program. If you don't see your question below, mention it in the comments and we'll do our best to provide an answer.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding as we restored the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services - your support has meant a lot to us and is greatly appreciated.

Q: What's in the Welcome Back Program?
A: To start, all PSN members who had signed up before the outage (April 20, 2011) will be able to select two games for the PS3 and two games for the PSP systems.

103w ago - Zipper Interactive Senior Community Manager Jeremy Dunham has welcomed fans back to SOCOM 4 on the PS3 today and announced they are issuing free maps and weapons to PlayStation Plus users.

To quote: We're very happy today to announce that SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs is now offering free maps and weapons to all PS Plus users!

You might remember that we gave away the classic SOCOM map "Abandoned" and a couple of exclusive shotguns as an incentive to pre-order the game through GameStop. All PlayStation Plus users can now download "Abandoned" and the shotguns free for the next month!

For those of you without Plus yet, don't worry-your time will come shortly. Recall the blog announcement a couple weeks back announcing that, as a token of appreciation, the PlayStation Network will be giving all users 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership, coming soon. After a month of PlayStation Plus availability, "Abandoned" and the shotguns will continue to be available for SOCOM Pro members.

105w ago - Inline with the COD Black Ops Double XP weekend announcement comes another for Killzone 3 on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system!

To quote from Killzone's Community Editor Victor Zuylen on the event news: To celebrate the return of the PlayStation Network and welcome you back to Killzone 3's online battlefield, we've got a Double XP Weekend lined up!

Starting this Friday, May 20 at 17:00 PM UK time, and lasting until Monday, May 23 at 10:00 AM UK time, all XP you earn in Killzone 3's multiplayer matches will be doubled.

The upcoming Double XP Weekend isn't the only Killzone-related goodie in the pipeline. As you may know, Sony has revealed that Killzone: Liberation is part of its Welcome Back Program for PSN members, meaning you'll be able to download the critically acclaimed PlayStation Portable shooter absolutely free of charge. 135w ago - TellTale Games, who've recently released new incarnations of classic Lucasarts games (Sam & Max the Devils Playhouse, Tales of Monkey Island) are bringing new life to the Back to the Future trilogy.

Initially planned for release on PC & MAC, with the first episode expected in December 2010, the game is also planned for console release (presumably once the full season is complete).
