50°
255w ago - Sony's Social Media Senior Specialist Chris Morell has posted up the first video of their FAQ on BioShock for the PS3 console.

To quote: We FINALLY got the invite up to [Register or Login to view links] Marin to talk to the [Register or Login to view links] team, and what better timing than a week away from the game's release on Feb. 9.

We certainly gathered by your abundance of [Register or Login to view links] that excitement for BioShock 2 is crazy high.

So on Monday, I sat down with Senior Producer Melissa Miller and Lead Environment Artist Hogarth de la Plante (with a chillingly lifelike Little Sister standing eerily behind us) who answered a heap of your questions - so many in fact that we had to split the video into two parts.

So today, you'll see part one that focuses primarily on BioShock 2's single-player campaign, including details on story development, philosophical influence, plasmids and much more. And head on back tomorrow for part two, which delves deep into the much-anticipated multiplayer mode.

To quote: Last week we [Register or Login to view links] (via [Register or Login to view links]) on SEGA's upcoming PS3 shooter [Register or Login to view links].

And as usual, you delivered some good ones, covering off on all areas off the game's single and multplayer modes, the special [Register or Login to view links] and more.

Tim Jones from AvP developer [Register or Login to view links] was on hand to field as I fired a list full of inquiries.

*And literally as I'm typing this, we just received word that an AvP online multiplayer demo is hitting the PlayStation Store tomorrow! So at around the 6:00 mark in the video when Tim mentions the demo, add your own mental voiceover with Thursday, Feb. 4. Gran Turismo PSP - Questions Answered by Polyphony Digital

200°
284w ago - Polyphony Digital's US Producers, Chris Hinojosa Miranda and Taku Imasaki, answered some questions submitted by readers regarding Gran Turismo PSP over on the US PS Blog.

To quote: Could we expect any compatibility of Gran Turismo PSP with Gran Turismo 5 (like Resistance: Retribution with Resistance 2)?

Polyphony has always pushed the hardware boundaries of every console it's been released on...and while this isn't really answering your question, it does leave it open for you to imagine the possibilities.

Is GT PSP going to have DLCs (such as new cars, tracks, etc..)?

We're planning on having 800+ cars right out of the box, which is pretty much a lifetime's worth of racing (I'm still unlocking cars from GT4). With that sort of breadth and reach of options, having DLC would be like tossing water into the ocean.

Will cars get damaged on GT PSP?

Damage? No. 800+ cars, 35 tracks, on-the-go awesomeness, and a lifetime's worth of racing, yes.

Will we see Porche, Lamborghini in the PSP version?

Our car selection is pretty broad – there is a lot of candy, that's for sure – but as far as flavors, you'll just have to wait a bit more.

Will there be a downloadable...

100°
291w ago - Sony's Social Media Senior Specialist Chris Morell has shared an FAQ video today on the PlayStation Blog on Heavy Rain for PS3.

To quote: Last month I caught up with David Cage, CEO of Quantic Dream and writer/director of Heavy Rain, a game that many of you are very interested in.

To a room full of press, David presented a new scene that introduced new characters, new gameplay, contextual additions and more... and what was shown was simply stunning.

Following the preso, I asked David about Heavy Rain and its progress, and grilled him some of your very own questions.
