107w ago - Four Door Lemon Producer Les Ellis is here with details today on Sony's new PlayStation Mobile game QuizQuizQuiz which is now available.

To quote: Hi everyone! We're pleased to bring the addictive trivia fun of QuizQuizQuiz to PlayStation Mobile this week!

Although perhaps not the tactical test of our PS Vita launch title Table Football, or the end-to-end arcade action of our recent title Table Ice Hockey, we always feel there is chance to test your grey matter on topics from sport and movies, to history and food!

Offering incredible value with over 35,000 questions across nine selectable question sets - covering English, German, French, Italian and Spanish - you are sure to get relevant questions every time, rather than obscure ones about TV shows and sports you've never heard of!

The game will challenge you across two single player modes, each with their own highscore tables:

Quizmaster

The classic quiz game format - you have three life lines (50/50, pass, freeze the clock) to get the highest score you can!

Beat the Clock

Set your own time limit and difficulty level then see if you can beat your previous highscores!

Also on offer are three multiplayer game modes to provide a different...

Video: Until Dawn: Halloween PlayStation 3 Teaser Trailer Arrives

107w ago - Sony Product Marketing Specialist David Bull has posted up a Halloween PlayStation 3 teaser trailer for upcoming title Until Dawn today.

Below are the details, to quote: Happy Halloween, everyone! This is an exciting day for all of us on the Until Dawn team with our minds occupied by ghouls, beasts, and other things that go bump in the night.

We love teen-horror movies ("DON'T OPEN THAT DOOR," we cry... but alas, they always do). That's why we're so excited about Until Dawn: this game provides a truly interactive teen-horror experience!

Until Dawn puts you in control of eight teenagers, stranded in a remote location, under threat and trying with all their might to survive 'til sunrise.

Since today is Halloween, we have a special treat from Supermassive Games hinting at some of the scariest moments in the game. Don't worry: no spoilers here.

Even though you won't see any spoilers, eagle-eyed viewers may spot some details that spark lingering questions.

Who owns the items on the wall? Are the pictures portraying past victims or those who remain? You'll have to wait for Until Dawn to arrive on PS3 in 2013 to find out!

Stay safe tonight and have a Happy Halloween!

Video: Panic! Save the City in New PlayStation Mobile Puzzler

107w ago - Thumbs Up Games CEO Nicolas Marinus has shared a Panic PlayStation Mobile Puzzler video trailer today with details below, as follows:

Panic is coming soon to PlayStation Mobile! After thousands of years on a poky little space rock, with no wiggle room and no games to play, Panic's Alien Slime Monster has crash-landed on Earth – and it's angry.

The monster doesn't hate humans, and it hasn't been sent here to destroy us; It's just in a really bad mood. If you don't act fast, the whole city will become a giant slime bath!

Panic! plays a bit like a labyrinth game, but with a twist: you can reshape the labyrinth. The goal of the game is to save as many civilians as possible by toppling houses and diverting flowing slime away from them. Failed to rescue one? Throw a buoy for that last-minute save.

Is the slime coming from all directions? Throw a bomb to level an entire block and create a huge barricade. There are 30 missions stretched over three worlds, and Panic! also has a survival mode that challenges you to survive as long as possible.

We really feel we have created a special game. Destroying buildings to save civilians? It hasn't been done before. An action puzzle game about an alien attack? That's pretty unique.

PlayStation Mobile: Sixty Second Shooter Deluxe Lands on PSN Today

50°
107w ago - Happion Laboratories Chief Scientist Jamie Fristrom has announced that PlayStation Mobile title Sixty Second Shooter Deluxe lands on PSN today!

To quote: Many years ago I quit a pretty sweet job as creative director on Activision's Spider-Man series in the middle of development on Spider-Man 3.

Why did I do such a crazy thing? I'd love to say it was because of the screenplay, but no - a big part of the reason was that even though I had the highfalutin' title "creative director" I didn't feel like it was my game.

Somehow, not enough of my own creative input and ideas were making it into the thing, and I thought that at a small company I could start making games I could call my own again.

And I've been getting my butt kicked ever since! Every mistake you can make as an indie developer... I've probably made it twice. We did okay with Schizoid, which made it into the PAX 10, but didn't bring in enough money to make the next game, and although we managed to hold on for a while longer, doing some contract work here and there, we eventually had to call it quits.

My partner went and got a real job and I was about to as well, but then I heard that the Chrome web browser had...
