228w ago - Today Capcom PR Manager Brian Keltner has revealed that the Lost Planet 2 multiplayer PS3 demo is now available on PSN, and he also shared a trailer video for the PlayStation 3 title below.

To quote: Beginning with today's PlayStation Store Update, the Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer Demo will be available on PSN. Get together with up to 16 players, grab some weapons, jump in a vital suit and compete in Elimination, Team Elimination, or Data post Grab modes.

This is just a sample of the various modes and ten maps you'll be able to play when the full game ships on May 11.

But wait, there is more! Downloading the demo does more than just let you get a first taste at Lost Planet 2. Capcom has started an exciting charity campaign called, "Kill Big for Charity".

We are partnering with Music for Relief, a non-profit organization dedicated to disaster relief and disaster risk mitigation, to contribute $20,000 to charity if one million demos are downloaded across both PSN and XBL before May 5, 2010. An additional $5,000 will be added to the pot if an extra 500,000 demo downloads can be achieved.

And, look for more exclusive downloads in next month's May episode of Qore, featuring Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands, UFC Undisputed 2010 with Jens Pulver, and an insider's look at upcoming additions to PlayStation Home.

Look for Episode 24 to hit the PlayStation Store on May 11.

Video: Sony PS3 Move Demo Showcasing SOCOM 4 for PS3

350°
228w ago - Below is a video from Sony's recent event in Seattle showcasing the PS3 Move system with SOCOM 4 for PlayStation 3.

Zipper Interactive's upcoming title SOCOM 4 is just one video game boasting the new PS3 Move motion-control system that is currently estimated to cost around $100.

To quote: "Zipper and "SOCOM" helped Sony leap ahead in the past.

When the PlayStation 2 introduced a network adapter enabling online play in 2002, the first "SOCOM" game was released to showcase this capability. The "SOCOM" franchise went on to be one of the PS2's biggest hits, selling more than 10 million copies, and Sony bought Zipper in 2006.

"SOCOM 4" is still early in development, with no price or release date set yet, but Sony has been showing it to fans and reporters in events across the country, including one in Seattle earlier this month."
