178w ago - Sucker Punch Productions' Brian Fleming has shared a video today spotlighting InFamous 2: The Quest for Power on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.

To quote: Today I'm here to talk about everyone's favorite topic: powers! More specifically, how does Cole manage to improve on is already impressive set of electrical abilities?

For those of you who don't know the original inFAMOUS story, Cole's electrical powers appear when he's caught in the blast of a mysterious device called the Ray Sphere.

Cole gains more and more abilities, becomes more and more powerful, and survives the gauntlet of Empire City... but he also is given a glimpse into his future. He realizes that even at the height of his powers, he is no match for the challenge that awaits. A battle with a great Beast looms, and Cole isn't ready to face it.

So in inFAMOUS 2, Cole travels South to New Marais to trace a path to the man behind the Ray Sphere technology, Dr. Sebastian Wolfe. With buddy Zeke riding shotgun, they set off to find the key to the next step in Cole's evolution and a new level of power- powers that will be necessary if Cole hopes to survive the upcoming battle.

Video: Nintendo 64 - N64 Emulator on PS3 Alpha First Look

1300°
184w ago - We are a team of 3 guys who have been working on a Nintendo 64 emulator for quite some time now, and we have decided to go out with the news since now our N64 emulator is officially working on the PS3.

We still have a huge load of things to work on, but it's playable and N64 is finally working on the PS3.

What we have done so far:

  • 1 player (keyboard only)
  • We have succeeded to enable gameshark codes
  • Graphics works excellent on most games we have tried; Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Ridge Racer 64, Diddy Kong Racer, Mario Kart 64, Banjo Kazooie and 1080 Snowboard.
  • Games we have tried that are jerky (so far): Duke Nukem 64, Doom 64, Hexen 64 and WCW Smackdown 64.

Issues (we are working on):

  • Audio is not working yet.
  • A user interface and the ability to edit and change files such as controller settings, cheat codes, etc. (We do all this over FTP now).
  • Game menu (we now have to upload one game at the time).
  • PS3 controller, (we now have to use a USB keyboard).
  • Multiplayer.

We have decided to use ps3news and youtube to communicate with you guys, and if you want to help us out, feel free to either email us at n64onps3@gmail.com or PM us on youtube.

A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! Hits PSN on December 21, 2010

300°
195w ago - Executive Producer Martin Brouard at Frima Studio has announced today that A Space Shooter for Two Bucks will be hitting PSN on December 21, 2010.

To quote: Since we last stopped by to exclusively reveal the new trailer for Young Thor here back in August, we've been hard at work on the next game for all you Sony fans out there.

We're happy to report that it's nearly complete and most certainly continues our tradition of delivering some of the highest quality and rewarding experiences available on the platform. So, what's next in 2010 from [Register or Login to view links], the studio that brought you Zombie Tycoon, [Register or Login to view links] and Young Thor? The answer lies in the cosmos with A Space Shooter for Two Bucks!

With what we feel may be the most appropriate and what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) titles in gaming history, A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! is what the Frima Studio team has been working on for the last portion of 2010 and is one of the most exciting minis we've ever seen. For the ridiculously low price point of - yep, you guess it, $1.99 - it's also one of the most value-rich shooters ever.

And as a bonus, A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! is quite historic...
