Last time I posted here, we were still finishing up our Sportsfriends Kickstarter drive. Thanks to some of you, we were successfully funded, and since then we've been working on the games!
We're at E3 this week showing some of the games, directly on PS3 hardware. As part of the E3 fanfare, we want to talk about some of the new features we've been working on.
To start with, let's talk about Super Pole Riders, which has seen a radical overhaul since the free browser version. Below you can see one of the new arenas, illustrated by Bennett himself.
You'll note that there are four players there. The game now supports 1v1 and 2v2. Two-on-two is especially crazy, with poles flying everywhere. We're also thrilled with the new control scheme. It feels nicely direct to rotate your pole using the analog stick.

To quote: As is customary at this time of year, a squadron of highly trained Molecules has been sent forth from the safety of Mm Towers in the UK, to the familiar walls of the LA Convention Center where E3 is held each year.
Yes, the Molecules are in town for E3, and we've brought Tearaway with us so we can show it to as many people as we possibly can.
With a bit of luck, and some big smiles, those people will go on to share their experiences with the rest of the world, so you should see some previews across the internet over the next few days. Polyphony Digital worked closely with Yokohama Rubber Corporation to produce a new tire model that reflects the tire compound, tire structure and changes in characteristics during extreme load conditions.
Improving the overall look of GT6 is Adaptive Tessellation, the next generation in 3D model rendering technology. Tessellation involves dividing a polygon into multiple geometric tiles; Adaptive Tessellation takes that science one step further by automatically dividing the polygons to become finer according to the viewing distance and position.
