101w ago - Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray announced that Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD arrives on PlayStation Vita today!

To quote: What can a small team achieve in 10 months? How about porting a classic Oddworld console game to the PS Vita!

The heroes at JAW beavered away since the launch of the handheld in February 2012 to bring you the most the console has to offer.

PS Vita users might still be waiting for the chance to play Munch, but just in time for the holidays, here's Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD. We're bringing an enhanced version of the much-loved classic to PlayStation Store later today.

Like the PS3 version before it, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD features high-quality graphical assets, better textures and high poly models. But this isn't a lazy port... The game makes use of PS Vita's touchscreen and rear touchpad for added controls and runs at the native screen resolution to give you a genuine Vita experience.

The game sees you take the role of the mysterious bounty hunter Stranger on a mission to clean up the Oddworld's Wild West. So what if you happen to profit from it, right? After all, the money is needed for important surgery!

Gameplay features a unique ammo system that's live... literally! From the wisecracking Chippunks to the ferocious...

Video: Knytt Underground Rolls to PlayStation 3 and PS Vita Today

101w ago - Creative Director Nicklas Nygren at Nifflas' Games revealed that Knytt Underground rolls to both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita consoles today complete with a video trailer below.

To quote: I've always wanted to develop a game that is heavily-story based, but I've always waited to do it until I had a story I really want to tell; something personal and different.

Problem is, I can't just decide to come up with such a story whenever I want. It's an unusual and mysterious process and it kind of just... happens. Knytt Underground is the result of this process. Oh, and it's also a pretty sweet exploration platform game.

Knytt Underground tells a quirky and strange tale that connects to various things in my own life. It's set in the future, hundreds of years after the humans disappeared from the planet. Sprites, fairies and various other lifeforms roam tunnels underground.

They are curious about their origin and the meaning of life, and to find those answers they try to understand the ones who had obviously figured it out: the humans.

One organization is devoted to understanding our science and language. They have successfully decoded that the letter J symbolizes a hook and O the full moon. Another group tries to combine the truths of our different religions....

101w ago - Green Hill Creative Director Sander van der Vegte has announced today that Cosmic Clean-Up sweeps in tomorrow for PlayStation Mobile users with a video of the title in action below.

To quote: Here at Green Hill we're huge fans of simple mechanics and getting the most out of them.

And we love the concept of using the spaceship as a weapon in our new [Register or Login to view links] title, Cosmic Clean-Up, out tomorrow in North America.

Players must strategically use the fire from the ship's thruster burn to destroy the space junk that is blocking their path - before it destroys them! Do your bit for the Cosmos... Take your spaceship and use the fire from the exhaust to burn away space junk orbiting your home planet!

It takes special skill to speed towards a hard piece of rock, and steer away from it in the nick of time, while cleverly covering the debris in hot burning fire! In essence this risk-reward, arcade style of gameplay makes playing Cosmic Clean-Up both thrilling and fun.

Cosmic Clean-Up is a perfect balance of risk, skill, and reward. But above all, it is exactly what it says; a thorough cleaning of the cosmos. During your aggressive...
