129w ago - Today Producer Francois Potentier has introduced Funky Lab Rat for PS3 alongside a video showcasing the puzzle-platformer that is hitting Playstation Store.
To quote: After a week flooded with big announcements and sequels, time has come for one of the most exciting and original 2D platformers with physics: Funky Lab Rat.
This original and refreshing title has been available exclusively from PlayStation Store since 24 November. Using the PlayStation Move motion controller or a DUALSHOCK 3 wireless controller you can freeze time, stop the action (gravity too) and even rewind to re-arrange and place the available items to facilitate your fast escape.
Check out the trailer:
Play Diego, a super-powered Rat willing to escape from an experimental lab. Your mission is to make it through the final lab gate by crossing over pits and overcoming obstacles. 81 levels and 10 worlds await you!
It's not easy though, trust me! This game will keep you busy for hours even if you are the most hardcore of players. Collecting pills on your way out will help you to get rewards, medals and trophies. If you perform perfect runs, you'll win platinum rewards.
129w ago - Today HKKory has shared a video of what he calls a PlayStation Move demo disc exploit via PS3 JailBreak, however, as PSGroove points out the console is already JailBroken so this isn't really an exploit and won't likely lead to anything.
To quote: "The PS3 homebrew news has seemed to slow down, a lot. So I thought I would start making some news. I noticed the demo disc that came with my move, runs off the XMB, and installs demos.
I pondered if the same method could be used for homebrew, or whatever. I backed it up with my manager, and looked in the files. I realized the installs were DATA000.PKG so I renamed a emulator to that, copied it over to move folder, and installed it.
Now I'm not a coder, so I would like to turn this news over to anyone that could make some use of it to further our efforts. But please, remember to credit me, if you work further upon this discovery.
Here are the details:
• Back up Move Demo Disc (10GB)
• Select Install Disc
• Make sure a Disc is in the Drive
• Open Your File Manager
• Open Dev0HD
• Go to folder with rips
• Navigate to BCUS-98263
• D001 - D012 have the pkg files.
• Rename desired .pkg to DATA000.PKG (USE CAPITALS ON THE .PKG)

130w ago - SCEA Product Marketing Specialist David Bull has made available a video today showcasing Dead Nation for PS3 turning up the heat, which is heading to PSN next week.
To quote: Dead Nation invades the PlayStation Store in only one week! We want to make sure that you'll hit the ground running because the zombie hordes will be relentless in their quest for fresh, warm meat.
Today, we want to show you Dead Nation in its full chaotic glory. Watch Super Stardust HD pro Tlo-Mek, who has since joined Housemarque's development team due to his gaming prowess, eradicate the zombie infection when the heat is turned up to 11.
Dead Nation is a twin-stick shooter but the controls give you far more flexibility than you might expect. In the video above, you can watch Tlo-Mek, some of you played Dead Nation co-op with him at a MLG event using melee, Rush, and the game environment to his advantage.
All three of these tactics are critical to survive Dead Nation's most fearsome battles, particularly when you're faced with special zombies, Jumpers, Bombies, and other lurking threats - in addition to huge hordes of the undead.
Study up on the control scheme now - the undead are only...
