To quote: The Homebrew Channel (HBC) was designed to be used with the Homebrew SDK aka devkitPro. So any files you compile with devkitPro should load OK via the HBC.
If you try to load a file that was compiled with the Nintendo SDK however you will get an error that "This is not a valid Wii application". This is because the Homebrew Channel retrieves the load addresses for each ELF program segment from the Physical Address field, and in Nintendo SDK files this field is set to zero.
Hopefully the HBC guys will fix this in the next release, making the HBC more compatible. In the meantime you can use this little tool I made to patch your ELF file. It copies the values from the Virtual Address field into the Physical Address field for each program segment in your ELF file.
237w ago - Recently PSP homebrew developers Xenogears and Becus25 have released a Custom Firmware Enabler.
This program will enable the functions of M33 CFW using ChickHen, except for Recovery and Pops.
Since installation is not permanent, the application must be run again after reboot in order to enable M33 functions. It also works with TA-088v3 motherboards, but sadly it doesn't support the PSP 3000 yet.
You will need access to a hacked PSP to export the remote play settings. All that's included in the download package.
1. If you have not done so already, register your PSP with your PS3 for Remote Play.
2. Copy the ORP_Export folder (it's included) to your PSP under /PSP/GAME
3. Run Open Remote Play Export on your PSP. This will create a file on the memory stick called export.orp. Copy this file to your PC.
4. Run the ORP GUI and click on Import, locate and import export.orp. You will have to manually change the IP address of your PS3, by default it will be set to 0.0.0.0. I keep two profiles, one for local LAN and another for when I'm connecting from the Internet. You can create multiple profiles by simply changing the Name field and clicking Save.

242w ago - To quote xorloser: I've finally gotten around to finishing my SelfTool for manipulating Self and Sprx files. Self files are like exe files for the PS3 and Sprx files are like dll files for the PS3.
Among other things, SelfTool can be used to print out information stored in the file in a readable format to make studying them easier.
NOTE: This DOES NOT enable booting of copied games in any way. It also does not support decrypting or encrypting of self/sprx files. It is really only useful for those who are interested in looking a bit deeper at self/sprx files.

It works on the new FW 4.0 but i dont know if it will be the original or the patched one.But im guess it will be the patched one.Also the games first have to be installed onto the usb-hdd (usb-pan?).You could do this with the USB Loader itself.
The Vid shows the loader, a few games booting and running and the installation of a game. Im pretty sure this will be the long awaited software holy grail for some Wii hb users.
