European PSN Game Store Updates for September 29, 2010

204w ago - SCEE PlayStation Store Manager Mike Kebby is here with today's European PSN game store PS3 and PSP updates today, as follows:

There's a certain game featuring a certain Lara Croft releasing today- Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light.

That's not the only content releasing this week featuring a truly iconic character though; the demo for Ghost of Sparta hits the store, so now non-Plus subscribers can try the latest instalment featuring the angriest man (god) ever seen in gaming!

That's not all for PSP owners, UFC Disputed 2010 brings its incredible MMA action to the store, as well as there being a new GTI Club title, and two new additions to the Essentials range released.

Not forgetting that this Friday FIFA 11 will be released digitally too. That's quite a lot of handheld action for one week right?

One of my favourite games of the past year see's the fourth and final piece of DLC released, with Claptraps New Robot Revolution hitting the world of Borderlands, so grab three friends (this game is great single player, but best played co-op) and enjoy this madcap action.

There's also a smattering of new demos, minis, add-ons, the ModNation Racers soundtrack and more; for the full list you know what to do.

European PSN Game Store Update for September 15, 2010

206w ago - SCEE PlayStation Store Manager Mike Kebby has posted up the European PSN update today, as follows:

To start with, we have the games Tumble (Move controller required) and Flight Control HD (Move controller compatible) available. Tumble doesn't need much introduction, you should have heard about this title by now.

If not though, let's boil it down to the bare essentials... you can balance, build, and (surely most importantly) destroy... I'm going to leave it at that... what more do you need to know?

As for Flight Control HD, your aim is to control a stream of aircraft, and land them all successfully, so for those of you who've always wanted to practise your aircraft landing skills now's your chance

The Move content doesn't stop there; we have nine...yes NINE demos for Move titles (as well as 'normal' demos for FIFA 11, PES 2011 and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West) and Move update packs for EyePet and High Velocity Bowling to ensure you can play these games using your newly purchased Move controllers.

We have a new batch of Special Offers today, with deals on PAIN, Peggle and Mega Man 10 amongst others, and to celebrate the totally awesome, and most fun day of the year, 'Talk Like a Pirate Day' (Sunday 19th September) we have three Monkey Island...

European PS3 & PSP Game Store Update for September 8, 2010

207w ago - SCEE PlayStation Store Manager Mike Kebby is here with this weeks European PSN game store update today!

To quote: This week for you PS3 owners we have two full games available. The classic franchise Worms returns, with more madcap action.

Who honestly would have thought all those years ago that a turn-based game featuring worms and a huge collection of insane weaponry would have captured our imaginations so completely?

I have lost many, many hours through the years on various Worms titles, and now I'm so pleased to be able to the same all over again with Worms 2: Armageddon.

The second full title available takes you to the DANGERZONE (the Kenny Loggins track is my favourite karaoke tune, which you can also find the awesome video on VidZone too)! I couldn't resist, sorry. Play as Maverick and take to the skies in this new Top Gun adventure.

The only thing this game is missing is mini-games featuring semi-naked volleyball and locker-room towel flicking antics, but the arcade flight action I'm sure will suffice!

There's also new content for Mafia II, Dragon Age: Origins and more besides.  I'm not being lazy, but you know there's a list of it all below... so what are waiting for, go and read it.

I'll be around in the comments,...

European PlayStation Game Store Update for August 4, 2010

212w ago - Today Ross McGrath of the SCEE PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PSN update, which comes in to land with a cargo hold full of goodies.

To quote: We'll start with the portable content because along with a PSP version of the recently released Groovin' Blocks, we've got a much requested title - Powered by Namco... it's Ridge Racer! A true classic and still one of the best driving experiences on PSP.

Remember last time you saw me I teased you about one of my favourite PSOne Classics coming to the store? Well brush off your fighting gloves and prepare to beat the heck out of a grown man wearing spandex trousers and a jaguar mask because it's here, it's Tekken 2 and, while it's not quite as fast-paced as more modern fighters, it's still brilliant.

For your TV's best friend we've got a good selection as well - Gundemonium Collection brings the 'bullet hell' genre screaming onto the PSN with three games in one: Gundemonium Recollection; GundeadliGne and Hitogata Happa.

If you feel like punishing your trigger fingers and generally view blinking as a waste of time, these are the games for you. Not convinced you need all three games? Well okay, we'll let you buy them separately too but don't say we never do anything for you.
