127w ago - As a follow-up to their last update, today PlayStation Network Product Manager James Thorpe has detailed the second round of treats for PlayStation Plus subscribers this December.

To quote: Hi again, its already time for the next treats to be added to Plus for you! Today we will be adding a couple of little extras that we hope you will enjoy.

You may have heard about a game called DC Universe Online? Well we have worked hard to make sure that you guys get exclusive access to the Beta of this huge MMO Action title. All Plus members will be included and the download is being added to the Plus section of PlayStation Store as we speak - yes, that's right now.

Due to the scale of the game, this Beta Trial will require approximately 15GB of free Hard Disk Drive (HDD) space, and can take an average of 3-4 hours to download, or potentially longer depending on your broadband internet connection. It will definitely be worth it though!

We are also giving you guys a great PSP game Add-on for free. Little Big Planet PSP Turbo! Pack, will be yours to download and keep forever today. This pack contains loads of extras for LBP PSP.

127w ago - Marketing and PR Coordinator Bill Fryer at Creat Studios has made available a video introducing Mushroom Wars: Online for PSN today.

To quote: I'm sure many of you are very familiar with our much-loved PSN title, Mushroom Wars, and I am very pleased to announce today that fans of Mushroom Wars will soon get the features they've been begging for in our newest DLC pack, Mushroom Wars Online!

The online add-on will be available for download on 15 December in Europe.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Mushroom Wars is a fast-paced and accessible RTS, with a quaint, anime-inspired visual style in which you send your cute armies into battle, upgrade your mushroom bases, improve your weaponry and fight skirmishes in close-quarter maps.

To quote: Great News TV Fans: ITV Player and 4oD have joined BBC iPlayer as TV catch-up services on PlayStation 3.

Catch up on great TV with a wide selection of popular ITV Player programmes including Coronation Street, Gossip Girl and Emmerdale on all UK Internet connected PS3's.

Popular 4oD programmes including Peep Show, Hollyoaks and Misfits are also now available.

To start watching, simply connect your PS3 to the Internet, sign into your PSN account and then select the TV icon on the XMB (Xross Media Bar) and opt for the ITV Network triangle or 4oD.

This will take you directly to the service where you can watch popular programmes from the last 30 days, free of charge.
