And so, the sun sets on February and we round off with another strong week of content with fun stuff to be had for PS3 and PSP.
The Undergarden floats onto PSN this week, spreading joy, pollen and brightly coloured cuteness in its wake, the perfect counter-point to Alien Breed: Descent, the third chapter of Team 17′s twin-stick, extra-terrestrial bug hunt. TNT Racers is also now available for all across Europe.
For all your freebie lovers, we've got demos of Dragon Age 2, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and platform exclusive, Yakuza 4.
Awesome DLC this week in the shape of the highly anticipated Dead Money for Fallout: New Vegas and the Retro Map Pack for KillZone 3. We've also got the first of three new Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit packs this week - Armed and Dangerous which brings new content for you Autolog junkies.
More fan favourites on PSP with Ys I & II Chronicles and Tactics Ogre, and some low cost titles to be revisited with Peter Jackson's King Kong and Disney/Pixar's movie tie-in, Cars.
To get you in the mood for David Jaffe's Twisted Metal reboot, we bring you the roots of the franchise this week...
121w ago - Game Designer and Community Manager Arcade Berg at People Can Fly has announced today that Bulletstorm is now out on PS3, and he shared some tips to play like a pro in echoes!
To quote: Bulletstorm is out now on PS3! Its Echoes mode challenges you to complete levels using the most creative kills possible. Here's a head start to a high score!
Try and execute as many different Skillshots as possible on every single enemy. A lot of the Skillshots can be stacked with other ones. For example, you can get more skillpoints out of any enemy if he's on fire when you finish him off - this will give you +50sp for the "Afterburner" skillshot.
You could also do this while affected by Nom Juice, giving you another +50sp for the "Intoxicated" skillshot, and another +50sp if the enemy is also being affected by Puffball gas at the same time (the "Antidote" skillshot) - there are a ton of different possibilities. Experiment!
Every time you perform a new skillshot for the first time in an Echo, the skillpoints you earn for it will be multiplied x5. Execute as many different Skillshots as you possibly can to take advantage of this!
121w ago - Sega of America's Assistant Community Manager Aaron Webber has shared a video announcing the Yakuza 4 PS3 demo is going live on PlayStation Network today.
To quote: That one guy from SEGA is back again, here to talk all things Yakuza 4, answer your questions in the comments, and remind you of one very important thing: The free Yakuza 4 demo is going live on PSN today!
If you've never played the Yakuza series before, I highly recommend you download the demo and give it a whirl. Today's demo is built around brawling, and in it you'll get to play as all four unique characters in the game.
Oh, and if you're glowing blue and you see the triangle button appear, make sure to press it - those are called HEAT actions, and they're both brutal and pretty amazing.
Also, hidden tip - we've equipped each character with a special weapon to use! Tap down on the d-pad to equip a weapon, and you'll find yourself armed with everything from nunchucks to spears to katanas. Kazuma Kiryu, the final character in the demo, also comes equipped with all three for you to try out.
If you own a PS3, you owe it to yourself to see why this series is exclusive to the console. And there's even more good news: following the great...
