To quote: I come bearing gifts, and by "gifts" I of course mean the official full trailer for Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable, [Register or Login to view links] upcoming handheld RPG epic.

What's it full of? Why, WIN, of course, and lots of it! What other portable roleplaying game gives you dozens upon dozens upon dozens of hours of satisfying combat, character interaction, side-quests, and a riveting story?

Moreover, few handheld RPGs, if any, deliver the aural and visual impact of Persona 3 Portable, with its stunning world and character design, and a soundtrack courtesy of master composer [Register or Login to view links].

For those of you who've never been properly exposed to Persona 3, allow me to pull back its long black trench coat to reveal a bit more about the concept of the Dark Hour. In the world of Persona 3 Portable, there is a hidden hour between the end of one day and the start of another.

It is imperceptible to most, save a select few. You're one of this gifted minority (of course you are) and in fact,...

Video: Red Dead Redemption PS3 Launch Trailer Arrives

200°
229w ago - Today the Red Dead Redemption official launch trailer arrives, with the video game hitting both the PS3 and XBox 360 on May 18, 2010 in North America and May 21, 2010 in Europe.

Red Dead Redemption gives the player a large, open world environment allowing the player to move freely. Players on foot can walk, talk, shoot, kill, ride, run, interact with the environment, and combat enemies with firearms.

Different breeds of horses are the main forms of transportation. Swimming is not an option, as the protagonist John Marston cannot swim and will drown if the player ventures too far into a body of water (though he is able to wade where the water is shallow enough).

The open world environment allows players to choose how they want to play. Storyline missions are for progress. Along with the main storyline, players can take part in random events they encounter as they explore the West.

These include public hangings, ambushes, pleas for assistance, and dangerous animal attacks. Players can also take part in optional side activities ranging from standoffs, gambling, and hunting fauna for pelts and meat.

Finally, Red Dead Redemption makes use of a morality system where players have the ability to gain positive or negative 'honor'. Some of the ways to gain positive honor include...

100°
231w ago - Dead Space 2 Executive Producer Steve Papoutsis has unveiled the first PS3 trailer video for survival horror third-person shooter Dead Space 2 that is slated to arrive on Sony's PlayStation 3 entertainment system in Q1, 2011.

To quote: The team is hard at work on Dead Space 2, but today we are releasing our first official trailer! We are very interested in hearing what people think about the trailer as we are certain fans of Dead Space will have lots of questions.

The concept behind the trailer is to hint at one of the core elements in Dead Space 2, while also showing off new enemies, a peek at an environment, and some other sneaky things.

Hopefully, fans of the original dig into the hidden stuff and new folks can get a glimpse at what the Dead Space franchise is all about: gruesome enemies and horror.

The team and I really enjoy all of the support we have been getting from the Dead Space community, and we are doing our best to create a worthy sequel.

If you want to keep up to date on what we are doing, please join our [Register or Login to view links] or follow us on [Register or Login to view links]. Looking forward to your feedback on the trailer.
