254w ago - Remember that retail listing for the Tomb Raider Underworld "Expansion Token Pack" with a January 21st ship date?
Well, you can divert your attention until February 10 when "Beneath the Ashes" - the first of two Xbox 360-exclusive DLC episodes - brings six new costumes, 125 additional achievement points, and some "never-before-seen caverns and age old crypts" to Lara's latest.
The second episode - "Lara's Shadow" - follows on March 10 and, we presume, will feature another 125 achievement points.
The press release curiously avoids any mention of price but - seeing as how the email in our inbox reminded us that "the codes to download this content will be available at GameStop" - we're going to assume that despite managing to botch the date, GameStop's got the $10 per episode asking price right. We've asked an Eidos rep just in case.

259w ago - Speaking to RPGamer, an NIS America representative confirmed the rumors that the ensemble RPG X-Edge will be headed for the US.
That's great news for traditional JRPG fans everywhere - the Compile Heart title features characters from the companies Capcom, Namco-Bandai, Gust, Idea Factory and Nippon Ichi.
Mark your calendars, the game will be released in March 2009.
To quote: X-Edge just seems to have NIS America all over it. It features characters from Disgaea, Mana Khemia, Ar tonelico, Spectral Souls, and the Atelier series. I mean, come on, there are even Prinnies. When should we expect to see it in North America?
NISA: X-Edge is an interesting project since it's a collaboration between 3 different companies. It's pretty funny to see a little Prinny fight characters from Darkstalkers like Morrigan and Demitri.
The release date isn't finalized yet, but it's going to be in March 09.
261w ago - It has been confirmed today that Halo Wars will be released in North America on March 3rd, while it will hit Europe on February 27th.
To quote: Ensemble Studios' Xbox 360 real-time strategy game Halo Wars finally has a release date. It will deploy/move out/establish a beachhead/random other armed forces metaphor on March 3rd in North America and on February 27th in Europe.
The game's now available for pre-order at several different retailers, if you're the type who likes to plunk down money months in advance for a game that you could easily pre-order the week before (just sayin').
As reported last month, pre-ordering the game's $80 Limited Collector's Edition and get an exclusive in-game vehicle and early access to the Mythic Map Pack for Halo 3, among other things.
The release will be a bittersweet day for Ensemble Studios. They're obviously pretty psyched about the project but the studio, best known for the Age of Empires series, will be closing its doors when work is completed on the game.
263w ago - Responding to new rumors of a PS3 price cut in March 2009, a Sony Computer Entertainment America rep told Edge, "There are no plans for a price reduction on PS3 in March 09, and anything reported on or discussed otherwise is purely rumor or speculation."
Over the weekend, online magazine D+Pad cited an anonymous source who purportedly attended a Sony staff briefing in London where execs said the PS3 will have a more competitive price from March 2009 and beyond.
March 31, 2009 marks the end of Sony's fiscal year, during which the company expects to sell 10 million PS3 units, or about flat compared to the previous year.
Sony has repeatedly denied a PS3 price cut will take place before the holidays.
Currently, Xbox 360s retail from $199 to $399 and Wiis sell for $249 in the U.S. Standard 80GB PS3s sell for $399.
SCEA sales VP Ian Jackson recently told analysts at the BMO Capital Markets Interactive Entertainment Conference, "There is no product in the industry today on the videogame console market that delivers what a PlayStation 3 delivers for under $400, in the case of the 80GB."
