Video: The Origin of Titan Souls on PS4 and PlayStation Vita

50°
8w ago - Acidnerve's Mark Foster shared a video trailer today showcasing the origin of Titan Souls on PS4 and PlayStation Vita with details below.

To quote: Armed with a single, indestructible arrow, Titan Souls on PS4 and PS Vita drops you into the midst of a desolate world you have no knowledge of.

Exploration will soon reveal the hiding places of the Titans that reside here, and it's your job to take them down.

Tense, punishing boss battles are a love of ours that we think a lot of gamers share. These kind of battles are the very core of the gameplay in Titan Souls. There are no health bars - a single strike will end your life, and a single hit to a Titan's weak spot is all you'll need to pull off a kill.

It's not as simple as it sounds, however - each Titan is completely unique, with its own threatening move set and its own hidden weakness to be exposed. It's a challenging game, and we're not going to help you out with any overt tutorials or prompts either - you'll need to observe carefully and figure things out for yourself. Whilst simultaneously managing to survive. Maybe we're just horrible people.

The idea was born out of a Ludum Dare jam game of the same name that we made in a weekend...

8w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Nik Schmidt confirmed that the new Watch_Dogs DLC packs are out today on PS4 and PS3 platforms.

Below are the details, to quote: As you've probably been wandering the streets of Chicago for some time now, you surely think you know what's hidden in all the nooks and crannies of the city. Let us then direct your attention to a whole new world of possibilities.

In the brand new Access Pack DLC in Watch_Dogs, not only do you get access to more weapons and outfits for Aiden, but you'll also be gaining access to whole new missions to explore and perks to up your game a little.

First on the mission side: "The Palace" Mission pack. This one will have you infiltrate the luxurious palace of an internet mogul. Its enormous database has details on thousands of people - including you and DedSec - and it's recently been compromised. Obviously, you'll need to wipe the data and silence him.

The "Signature Shot" Mission Pack will have you track a biometrics weapon that has been smuggled into Chicago for a captain of the Black Viceroys gang. The weapon only works with the first person to imprint his palm on the handle. Breach a stronghold, steal the package, and be the first to imprint the weapon.

Last but not least, there's the "Breakthrough" Mission...

10tons Ltd Crimsonland PS4 Hits PlayStation 4 on July 15th, 2014

50°
8w ago - 10tons Ltd PR Coordinator Jaakko Maaniemi announced today that Crimsonland PS4 hits PlayStation 4 on July 15th of this year.

To quote: Hello folks! I'm really happy to be back on Playstation.Blog to announce [Register or Login to view links] will hit PS4 on July 15th.

It's a big deal for us at 10tons, for a whole bunch of reasons. First of all, Crimsonland is an incredibly fun, dual-stick, top-down shooter. It's exactly the kind of game we love playing and developing. It's delightfully old school, too, with plenty of splatter, gibs, and challenge.

Crimsonland is also the game 10tons was founded on all the way back in 2003. It started as a student project, but soon reached a level of success that a company was needed to support it. The PS4 version at hand is still largely the same game. Sure, the graphics have been replaced with new HD assets, content has been added and design tweaks made, but the immensely satisfying gameplay remains intact.

It's not a complicated game. You play this Trooper guy. Aliens, giant spiders, zombies, and other monsters start coming at you from every direction. You shoot them, but more keep coming. Soon enough you'll be running. Just when you think you're dead,...
