PlayStation Now PS4 Beta Invite Available, Reply for Chance to Get It!

800°
8w ago - First time poster but long time quiet reader. Over the years I've found this site very useful and all of its members very helpful and knowledgable. I thought i would give a little something back.

Today I received beta invites to the PS3 and PS4. I used the PS3 code and it works great. I don't have any use for the PS4 code so I am offering it to anyone who wants it. It will only work on a PS4 and only on an American account.

This means you must have signed up to PSN with an American address. I hope I'm not breaking any rules on this site by doing this. I will check back later tonight for replies. I will pick a random user from the replies to be the winner. This might just be YOUR lucky day!!

Video: Green Lava Studios: Fenix Rage is Coming to PS4 This Year

8w ago - Green Lava Studios CEO Eduardo Ramirez announced today that Fenix Rage is coming to PS4 this year with details and a PlayStation 4 video trailer below.

To quote: It's hard for me to start this blog without saying how incredibly lucky I feel, and I speak for the rest of the Green Lava Studios team of Diego Vasquez and Jose Mora when I say this.

It was only a couple years ago that we debuted our first game prototype on Google Play - it was really simple with hardly any cool visuals, but it served as the backbone of what would become our current game, Fenix Rage.

To read about the official announcement that our hardcore platformer will be launching this Fall on PS4... well, for three guys who grew up in Costa Rica daydreaming about video games, it's just incredible.

As gamers our entire lives, we had a lot of inspirations when creating Fenix Rage. We were - and still are - big fans of Sonic The Hedgehog, and that influence is seen with Fenix's dashing attack as well as some of his animations when near an edge of a platform.

The bright colors and sharp art design is something heavily influenced by Mike Mignolia's Hellboy as well as a cartoon I personally loved from my childhood, SWAT Kats.

Gaijin Announces War Thunder is Coming to PS4 on June 3rd

8w ago - Gaijin Head of PR Alexander Trifonov announced today that War Thunder is coming to PS4 on June 3rd, 2014 with details below.

To quote: For us in Gaijin Entertainment, this new generation of of gaming is all about experimentation and new business models, and War Thunder is a prime example of this: a cross-platform, free-to-play, massively multiplayer historical combat game.

The most important part is that War Thunder is an online game and it evolves constantly. There were several major updates for the PC version of the game since November, including the launch of the Ground Forces expansion pack.

This addition allows players to control armored vehicles such as tanks and anti-air guns which are fighting planes in some of the game modes. This simulates the realities of war where different army branches always supplemented each other in battles.

Our idea was to present PS4 players in North America with the latest version of the game, and today we're proud to announce that War Thunder is coming out on June 3rd and it includes the Ground Forces expansion from the start!

And, of course, all of the other exciting features found in the latest 1.41 version of the game - 350 different planes, squadron battles, 150 different multiplayer missions, and single-player campaigns...

We've provided our PS Plus members with numerous exclusive discounts, access to betas, demos and even select games early, and of course, free games to play through our Instant Game Collection.

As our members have grown with us from our introduction on PS3, PS Vita and now PS4, together we have built a strong community of gamers around the world.

The excitement around PlayStation 4 has been tremendous, and it has been exciting to see how quickly our dedicated community has rallied around the system, adopting and engaging with its features and spreading the word about what makes PS4 the best console available.

PlayStation Plus has been an essential part of PlayStation 4, providing access to next-gen online multiplayer and a steady stream of great games including Resogun, Outlast, Don't Starve and Mercenary Kings.

Video: Futuridium EP Deluxe is Coming to PS4, PS Vita This July

8w ago - MixedBag Cofounder Mauro Fanelli announced today alongside a video trailer that Futuridium EP Deluxe is coming to PS4 and PS Vita platforms this July.

Below are the details, to quote: Hi, fellow PlayStation fans. It's time for a little update on Futuridium EP Deluxe, our upcoming fast-paced, retro-inspired, super-colorful shoot-em-up.

The big news, first: we can finally announce that the Futuridium EP Deluxe will launch on PS4 and PS Vita in July.

The precise launch day is still to be determined, but you'll definitely be able to blast tons of cubes and blow up giant space dreadnoughts this Summer. So hold tight - the wait is almost over!

Futuridium is our first console game, and let's just say we got a bit carried away and we took our time to add lots of new features and a massive amount of exclusive content. At the heart of the Deluxe edition is the brand new Deluxe mode - a massive campaign featuring 50 different levels divided in five zones, with five bosses and five bonus areas.

There are no extra power-ups in Futuridium; you can only count on your skills. But to better equip you against the all-new odds you'll encounter in deep space, we added a turbo mode to your starship (How generous!)....
