Hello all - observant PlayStation faithful may have already noticed that the Store has already been updated this morning. Don't get excited, it's an early Christmas present but we're not making a habit of it.

Just a quick overview then - new offers including fan favourites Scott Pilgrim and Persona, plus lots of Tom Clancy goodness on PSP.

The new Alien Breed hits today, as well as the highly anticipated (in this office at the very least) Kung-Fu LIVE! In the immortal words of Miss Piggy... "HAI-YAH!" There are also demos, new PSP Essentials, a ton of avatars and some Christmassy themes to get you in the festive mood.

European PSN Game Store Updates for December 1, 2010

191w ago - Today Ross McGrath of the SCEE PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PSN game store updates, as follows:

It's Dead Nation - perfectly timed for a Hallowe... er... well it's out anyway and if you're not particularly fond of hordes of the undead attempting to eat your spicy brains, you can get to making those digital Christmas cards with Beat Sketcher.

Another BD title makes the leap to digital today as well - if you've been enjoying AC: Brotherhood recently you can check out where the saga began with Altair and the original Assassin's Creed.

With the minis this week we have the mobile hit, Edge and if you've been enjoying Pac-Man from last week but wish you could take it with you everywhere, we've got the slightly less feature-rich but no less awesome Pac-Man CE in minis format too.

On PSP you can boogie with MJ in MJ: The Experience (Shamone!), you can de-rez with TRON Evolution, you can subvert expectations and turn from villain to hero with Megamind: The Blue Defender or manage football with, um, Football Manager. I also urge you to try out No Heroes Allowed! since we have a demo going live this week - it's a real marmite game but I would recommend it if you like a challenge and oddball humour.

That's all for now -...

192w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN game store updates today, as follows:

First of all, a new batch of Special Offers graces us this week - if you're not a fan of Prince of Persia then you better start seriously reconsidering your position because we've got all the major PSN PoP content at cut prices.

Two trial and unlocks for you this week - the sublime Pac-Man Championship Edition DX (with a free XMB theme for those who choose to buy) and the Move-enabled Funky Lab Rat. The high-seas shooter, Dead Storm Pirates from Time Crisis: Razing Storm also makes its way to digital too.

Footie management fan but passed on Premier Manager when it released? We've got a demo for you to try - and just in time for the game's discount in the Special Offers. What are the chances? Snap it up while the getting's good.

The long-awaited Knives Chau add-on for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game arrives this week, along with more for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Also, don't forget to check out the new Joe Danger costume packs which not only give Joe a brand new look but expand his stunt moves to maximise your scores.

We've also got DLC for some of the big retail releases too, with brand new single-player...

193w ago - While the PS3 launched in North America four years ago today, SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN updates, as follows:

There's a good selection of new games for both platforms this week, as well as a wealth of DLC for various titles (not least the PS3 Exclusive Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Copernicus missions).

I don't have much to talk about this week - there have been a couple more PSone submissions that I'm sure you'll all be very pleased with once they're ready to go (don't ask me which, you know I can't tell you!)

194w ago - Sony's Ross McGrath of the SCEE PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PSN game store updates today, as follows:

First of all we have a new selection of Special Offers for you to browse - check these out and see if anything tickles your fancy.

I seem to recall we had a few requests for more bullet-hell, so you'll be pleased to see the platform/BH hybrid, Crescent Pale Mist hitting the digital shelves today.

On PSP we've a few sporty titles (yes, pro-wrestling is a sport, don't you dare say otherwise) for you and after the mini drought on minis last week, we've got three new bite-size gaming chunks for you today.

But, surely the star of the show this week is Grandia - undoubtedly one of the finest RPGs of the PSone generation. I'm very pleased it's finally with us and I'll be nabbing it as the next game to play on my work commute. Based on the potential 80+ hours of gameplay nestled away in there it should last about three months of tube journeys.

There's plenty of DLC this week, including the previously delayed Stunt pack for ModNation Racers and the missing Morpheus character skin for God of War III to name but a couple of pieces. See you later!
