To quote: Later today, our four-player, top-down vehicular combat game Red Faction: Battlegrounds will be available on PlayStation Network for just $9.99.

Utilizing Martian heavy assault walkers, armored tanks, and speedy rovers, your goal is to destroy the competition across multiple team-based or free-for-all battles. Best of all: Battlegrounds is 3D-enabled for play on your 3D TV! Buckle up.

If you're not familiar with Red Faction: Battlegrounds from our exclusive PSN beta last year, the game is set within the Red Faction universe, specifically during the 50-year period between Red Faction: Guerrilla and Armageddon.

You'll battle opponents all over the surface of Mars in different environments, including military compounds, mining towns, and bases taken over by a new enemy. And just like with previous Red Faction titles, you'll need to demolish many of the structures standing in your way.

112w ago - Guerrilla Games Producer Aryeh Loeb has confirmed that the Killzone 3 Steel Rain PS3 DLC Pack is coming to PSN tomorrow.

To quote: Back in February, we revealed that we were working on a brand-new DLC Pack for Killzone 3 called Steel Rain.

Today, we are proud to announce that the pack is finished and slated for a PlayStation Store release on tomorrow, 6 April.

Steel Rain consists of two explosive new multiplayer maps inspired by locations from the single player campaign: Junkyard, a Guerrilla Warfare map which sees Jetpacks and Exoskeletons clashing in a rain-drenched junk processing facility; and Stahl Arms, a uniquely styled Warzone map set on the factory floor of one of Helghan's largest weapons manufacturing plants.





The map pack will be available from the PlayStation Store April 6th for €4.99. PlayStation Plus members get a special treat: they can download the Steel Rain pack for free for the whole of April.

112w ago - Just a quick heads-up to everyone, starting this weekend (not an April 1st joke) we will begin upgrading the vB3 Forums we currently use to vBulletin 4, and through the transition there will be some scheduled downtime while our server cat works his magic!

Once the vB4 upgrade itself is complete, we will undergo another few weeks of work with some minor downtime while porting the remaining modules to vB4, followed by implementing some of your 2011 suggestions to our site. If you have any feel free to contribute them to the thread and we will do our best to make it happen.

Additionally, we are currently seeking a new site logo- if you are a graphic artist and would like to share some design concepts check out this ongoing thread... if we end up selecting one posted we will send the artist a $100 PayPal gift to express our appreciation.
