120w ago - Today Ken Schramm at Sucker Punch Productions has posted up a video dubbed inFamous 2 PS3: Morality Revealed introducing the companions.

To quote: Greetings from the SCEE PlayStation Experience in London! We're excited to be at the event, and for the first time, reveal how our duality/morality system will work in inFAMOUS 2.

Karma moments from inFAMOUS are now represented by character-driven dialogue and 3D mocap cutscenes. Your conscience comes into play with the introduction of Kuo and Nix, two NPC characters.

Kuo is a NSA agent working to help Cole defeat the Beast. Nix is a New Marais native that grew up in the swamps around New Marias, whose hatred for Bertrand stems from witnessing him kill her family. She is your hedonistic guide that coaxes Cole into not thinking about the consequences of his actions.





There will be multiple crossroads where Cole will decide to follow Kuo's lead or give into Nix's temptations. Your choices will directly affect the gameplay by permanently remaining in the world. Whatever path you choose, remember that in inFAMOUS 2 you can always change your mind. It's never too late to look for redemption... or to say "to hell with it" and become...

120w ago - Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager James Stevenson has shared a video today featuring Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One PS3 updates.

To quote: We've spent today in London demoing our two upcoming PS3 exclusives, Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, to members of the press. This marks the first time anyone outside Insomniac has played both games. In addition, we're showing new levels and content.

We realize it's not entirely fair that only the press gets to see what's new, so we wanted to make sure we brought it here to the PlayStation.Blog as well.

Resistance 3

The Resistance 3 demo takes place in Haven, Oklahoma. Our new hero, former Sentinel Joseph Capelli, has taken up arms with his fellow Haven citizens to defend the town from Chimeran forces.

The fighters are trying to buy enough time for an evacuation of Haven, as a Chimeran terraformer is closing on the city and threatens to wipe it off the map. As the battle wages on and the terraformer nears, you see the wind begin to pick up... and then the Chimeran Brawler arrives to turn the tide of the battle.

121w ago - Zipper Interactive Sr. Community Manager Jeremy Dunham has announced that SOCOM 4 for PS3 ships out on April 19th alongside posting a new multiplayer video today.

To quote: Everyone here at Zipper Interactive is pleased to announce that the wait will soon be over! As our headline says, SOCOM 4 is scheduled to hit stores in North America in just a few months on April 19th.

Earlier this week at the Zipper headquarters in Redmond, WA, we invited the media and 18 SOCOM community members to check out the latest version of our game.

Not only did they get an update on the progress of our single-player campaign, they were also treated to an extensive look at several of our multiplayer modes, which, as any SOCOM fan will tell you, is absolutely the game's bread and butter.
