206w ago - It wouldn't be fair to only show off girls demoing the Nintendo Wii, so today courtesy of PlayStationTaiwan via YouTube we have a video spotlighting Taiwanese girls demoing Kung Fu Rider on Sony's upcoming PlayStation Move PS3 Motion Controller.

For those curious, Kung Fu Rider (previously known as Slider) is an upcoming 2010 action video game for the PlayStation 3 developed by Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for use with the new PlayStation Move controller.

Players take the role of Tobio or Karin in the game, Tobio is a typical white-collar office worker while Karin is his secretary who has to escape from the Yakuza in Tokyo.

Players have to utilize the Move controller to navigate through the crowded streets of Hong Kong, HKSAR on a sliding office chair. Players can move the controller up and down to increase speed while tilting it left and right would turn the chair while tapping the Move button would cause the character to spin and kick items out of the way.

Players can cruise through the streets hopping over cars, juke left, right and pick up money along the way which act as points in the game and sliding through onscreen ticket outlines which will boost the game's meter which can trigger a burst of speed by jabbing at the PlayStation Eye.

Video: New Sony PlayStation Move Demo, Singapore Launch Date

50°
206w ago - With PlayStation Move hitting PlayStation Home, even more video footage is surfacing along with a launch date for PS3 fans in Singapore.

According to [Register or Login to view links], Singapore is set to be the first south-east Asian country to score Sony's motion-sensing add-on for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system, which will arrive on September 15, 2010.

Below is a new Sony PlayStation Move demo video courtesy of V3 via YouTube, and to quote from the video's caption:

"Table Tennis will never be quite the same with Sony's Move motion controller game system that is a bit like Wii only with glowing orbs on.

At Amazon's Christmas Wish List event Suki from Sony demonstrated the Move motion controller with panache. To be released in Europe from 15 September for the PlayStation 3, the Move motion controller will be priced at around £40 but you will also need the PlayStation Eye camera and that will cost about another £30.

You might also want to get the PlayStation Move charging station, to charge up to two Move controllers at once without having to connect them to the PS3 system, and that will set you back about another £30.

Valkyria Chronicles II PSP Demo is Available on PSN Today

100°
206w ago - Assistant Community Manager Aaron Webber at Sega of America has announced that the Valkyria Chronicles II PSP and PSPgo demo is available on PSN beginning today.

To quote: As Valkyria Chronicles II gets close to its August 31st release, we'd like to give you all a little sample of the game to try out and play for yourselves!

If you've been wondering how Valkyria Chronicles II holds up to the first game, today you can experience the glory of getting those lovely headshots on a rebel (or ten) while on-the-go.

If you loved the first game, you'll be glad to see that the feel of battle has been not only preserved, but also improved upon greatly. The new multi-field battle layout also adds another level of strategy, giving some missions a number of paths for you to send your squad through.

Jeff and I also talked about the multiplayer in one of the recent blogs here, which offers both cooperative and competitive play in addition to the full RPG storyline.

Valkyria Chronicles II may be a PSP game in relation to its older PS3 brother, but trust me when I say not to take it lightly. This little gem not only manages to do justice to one of my favorite RPG Battle systems - ever - but also brings back the CANVAS system for a beautiful watercolor finish that looks...

Creat Studios Reveals TerRover PSN Demo Hits Qore Tomorrow

50°
206w ago - Today Vice President of Development for Creat Studios Scott Hyman has revealed that tomorrow the TerRover PSN exclusive demo is arriving for Qore subscribers.

To quote: We've been working hard on this one for a while, and we're eager to let you get your hands on it and discover the engaging gameplay for yourselves.

You can do just that with the free demo of TerRover available with both versions of Qore tomorrow. Plus, you can watch the (hopefully not-embarrassing) interview with me at E3, chatting it up with [Register or Login to view links] about why the game is so much fun.

The TerRover is a cute little robot buggy with a big smile and warm heart in need of your help to find a new planetary home for him and his friends. The TerRover's controls aren't quite like anything else out there.

His head slides back and forth across his body as you change direction. One button press places his head under his body to turn him over. And most importantly, the left stick lets you pivot your TerRover up and down from either end. You'll need to master this skill in order to save the TerRover population!

You get weapons and tools, too. Choose from various chassis equipped with rocket launchers, magnet cables and more. They'll come in handy in tight...
