100°
214w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has posted up a new video today on the PSN exclusive title Scott Pilgrim vs The World for Comic-Con 2010.

To quote: I really enjoyed Scott Pilgrim vs The World when I played it at E3, despite having zero knowledge of the source material.

Now that I've read the first 5 [Register or Login to view links] in record time (and will be picking up the 6th and final one today), I'm in full on "DO WANT" mode.

Fortunately, we'll be featuring the latest build of the game at our Comic-Con event on Thursday (invites just went out for that, btw - check your email). And Scott Pilgrim vs The World's (PSN-exclusive) debut isn't that far off, either - August 10th.

In the meantime, and just in time for Comic-Con, take a look at the latest trailer.

We'll have more on Scott Pilgrim vs The World shortly after Comic-Con.

Video: Latest Kung-Fu Live PS3 Trailer Arrives for Comic-Con

214w ago - Virtual Air Guitar Company CEO Teemu Maki-Patola has shared a fresh Kung-Fu Live PS3 trailer just in time for Comic-Con 2010.

To quote: Teemu Maki-Patola back to give you the latest update on [Register or Login to view links] since first showing it off right here on the PlayStation.blog back in May.

With Comic-Con just days away in the US, this week is one of the most exciting times to be a lover of all things comics and video games. With that in mind, we finally wanted to show off a closer look at what it's like to literally step into the pages of a classic pulp action-comic in our latest trailer below!

For those of you PlayStation Eye owners or future PlayStation Move owners, this trailer gives you a better look at exactly how our own Freemotion technology will work when tracking your entire body without any controllers.

As you can see, we always find it's best to let loose when playing the game, and dressing up in your favorite 'bad-ass' outfit is something we definitely recommend. As far as weapons go, the single-player experience is currently controller-free, and players can use their own inanimate objects to take down enemies with much more style!

We can't wait to show off...

Video: Assassin's Creed Hits Russia in Comics Debut Trailer

50°
215w ago - A new Assassin's Creed trailer has been released by Ubisoft which reveals it will hit Russia in this comics debut.

This trailer heavily suggests that the next set in the Assassin's Creed universe will be set in Russia surrounding the events of "the late Bicom explosion."

In the trailer, you hear the narrator explain that there is nothing left to find in the area, and that people are looking for some meteor. He explains that only he knows the truth and that "the ghosts of all the men he's killed will never let him forget it."

What's weird about this trailer however, is that it is not for a game, but for a comic book mini-series set to debut in the fall of 2010.

Ubisoft has confirmed that this will be a topic to be covered in their press conference by its Comic-Con panel on Thursday, July 22.

Video: Young Thor Heads to PSP Minis, Official Trailer Arrives

50°
215w ago - Today Executive Producer Martin Brouard of Frima Studio has announced that Young Thor is heading to PSP Minis alongside a new official trailer video for the title.

To quote: Today we're showing off the final trailer for Young Thor, which will be launching next week for minis on PSP and PS3.

Our team has had a ton of fun creating titles for minis like Zombie Tycoon and the recent Widgets Odyssey, but Young Thor represents a completely new milestone in our efforts.

Built entirely for minis from the ground up to look great when played on either system, we wanted to deliver a truly epic action title that pushes the boundaries for what a minis title can become, and it's anything but tiny. Check out the official launch trailer below!

A fresh take on iconic Norse Mythology, the game has been inspired by some of the best action-platformers and beat-em up brawlers around.

You'll need to pummel your way through Midgard, the world of men, and Asgard, the world of the gods, with over a dozen different attacks and special powers if you should ever hope to save the world tree Yggdrasil.

While I don't want to spoil anything, we also have a mountain of 50 different in-game achievables to unlock throughout...

Video: First inFamous 2 PS3 E3 2010 Trailer Arrives!

300°
219w ago - The Game Director for Sucker Punch Productions, Nate Fox, has announced today the new game Sucker Punch has been working on is infact inFAMOUS 2, and with it, the first trailer for their new game.

To quote: E3! It's finally here, and those of us from Sucker Punch couldn't be more excited. Today we're getting a chance to show off the first trailer for our new game (you guessed it) inFAMOUS 2.

In inFAMOUS we told the story of Cole MacGrath, an ordinary guy who gets superpowers. This time around in inFAMOUS 2, Cole starts out as a full on superhero and only gets more and more powerful.

It's more visceral, brutal and personal experience that commands you attention, making you feel the part of the superhero in every decision you make... be it for good or evil.

Get ready for the hell of a fight right off the bat. At the beginning of the game Cole meets a civilization ending villain who's too powerful to beat.

Looking to get stronger powers for a rematch Cole is forced to head south to New Marais, the town where the Ray Sphere was designed and built. Like I said, Cole starts out the game as a superhero over the course of inFAMOUS 2 he's going to become a super super hero (that's right double super).
