PS3-FTP v1.0 Homebrew App Arrives, Made with PSL1GHT SDK

192w ago - Following PS3 FTP Server and PS3 FTP Server v1.2, today stoneMcClane has introduced the third PS3 FTP homebrew application called simply PS3-FTP for PlayStation 3 JailBreak users, this one being made with the PSL1GHT open-source SDK.

To quote: The first legal PS3 ftp server has arrived, courtesy of stoneMcClane. The previous ftp servers for PS3 used the Sony SDK. However, PS3FTP is coded with the PSL1GHT Open SDK, making it completely legal.

Please note during our testing of PS3FTP, it crashed several times. It appears this new project still has some bugs to work out.

PS3 Inven v1.2 - PS3 JailBreak Game Organizer for PC Arrives

192w ago - Recently PS3Win was updated, and today another PS3 JailBreak game organizer for PC has arrived called PS3 Inven with version 1.2.

Currently the PS3 Inven application by [Register or Login to view links] is in Spanish, with both a normal and full version that includes the database and PlayStation 3 covers available.

193w ago - A few days ago we saw a video of a PS3 downgrading, and today zAxis has released PSGrade which is a PSGroove implementation of PSDowngrade WIP for JailBroken 3.41 PS3 consoles.

In related news, graf_chokolo has now detailed how to decrypt PS3 PKGs as noted HERE.

To quote: Today he's shared his work with the public, however, it still requires some work, before it is fully functional. Right now, his code still requires the dongle master key, one that is buried within the PS3 console. The good news, is zAxis feels this key can be retrieved via a 3.15 fw console.

He is asking the community, anyone with a 3.15 console, to help retrieve this key. Once retrieved, PSGrade should become fully functional. Below, is his request to the public.
