125w ago - Today Ubisoft Community Developer Gabriel Graziani has officially unveiled Assassin's Creed III's first PS3 trailer below!

To quote: After several years of work, by hundreds of some of the most talented developers on the planet, we are extraordinarily pleased to show you the very first official trailer for Assassin's Creed III.

Today, we'd like to offer a glimpse of the rich backdrop provided by the American Revolution, as well as sneaking in some details about our Native American protagonist: Connor.

Keep your eyes peeled for a certain historic figure you may recognize (trust me, he'll be hard to miss)... and ponder his role both in a story of the foundation of a nation and the ceaseless conflict between the Templars and Assassins.

As previously announced, Assassin's Creed III ships for PS3 on October 30, 2012.

Video: PS Vita VHBL Game Revealed: Motorstorm Arctic Edge, Details

126w ago - Following up on the previous update, today PS Vita homebrew developer wololo has revealed the game used for the PlayStation Vita Half Byte Loader (VHBL) is Motorstorm Arctic Edge (Motorstorm Raging Ice in Japan) and shared a video of it in action below!

As a result, Sony has officially removed the Motorstorm Arctic Edge title from PlayStation Store.

To quote: "Ok, so, since the PSN maintenance is being postponed, there is no reason for me to not give the name of the game used by Teck4 for his exploit:

The Game is Motorstorm Arctic Edge, also known as Motorstorm Raging Ice in Japan. It is available for 19.99 euro on most European Playstation Stores, 15.99 Pounds in the UK, and for 3800 yen on the Japanese store.

Note for North American readers: that game, despite being available on the US Store, is marked as not compatible with the Vita in the US. People who have bought it in the US and tried to transfer it to their vita have failed as far as I know, which is why a few days ago I recommended people in the US to get a European PSN account.

Now what's next?

Well it's simple and stressful at the same time: I'm giving you guys...

Video: Sony Goes Hands-on with Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

126w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has gone hands-on today with some fresh video footage on Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time below.

To quote: Earlier this week, Rey and I visited Foster City-based Sanzaru Games, the developers of this fall's Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

As the first original PS3 entry in the classic PS2 thieving series, and the first to be developed outside of Sucker Punch Studios, Thieves in Time represents a long-awaited return to form as well as a natural entry point for series newcomers.

Where Sly 2 and Sly 3 let you slip into the roles of Sly's partners in crime, Thieves in Time expands upon that concept by granting you control of Sly's infamous ancestors - the Cooper Clan members named in the hallowed pages of the [Register or Login to view links]. In one chapter set in ancient Japan, I played as Riochi, Sly's sushi-slinging ninja ancestor.

Slinking past sleeping guards while searching for a special set of sushi knives, I used Riochi's Leaping Dragon ability to soar through laser fences and other high-tech traps designed to derail the Cooper Clan's devious destiny.

Other playable ancestors, including the medieval...
