European PSN Game Store Updates for March 23, 2011

201w ago - Today Ross McGrath of the SCEE PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PSN updates, as follows:

It's a monster week as we see the launch of Dissidia 012 [duodecim] on Friday, but today we have Prologus for you, bundled with a free Aerith support character for use in the main game.

Old Josh Walker has asked me to mention that we now have a digital version of DC Universe available on the Store - so if you've been holding out on giving this one a try you can download it today - comes with a 30 day trial too.

ITCHY. TASTY. AWESOME. Finally, Resident Evil: Director's Cut makes it to the EU PSN Store - this is easily the most requested PSone title you lot have ever asked for so please show it some love. Let's hope Resident Evil 2 doesn't take another three years to show up. (That was a joke, don't panic).

Konami furnishes us with their side-scrolling blaster, Hard Corps: Uprising and a few nuggets of day one DLC to expand your character roster.

We've also got demos of the excellent Marvel Pinball and WWE AllStars for you guys to try before you buy.

Plenty of DLC too, including new costumes for LittleBigPlanet 2 and a bundle of three recently released NFS Hot Pursuit packs, so fill your collective boots.

European PSN Game Store Updates for March 16, 2011

202w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN Game Store updates today, as follows:

We're launching a new round of Special Offers - this time with a special PlayStation Move focus to help you get the most out of your magic wands.

We've got some great third party titles like Flight Control HD, DeadStorm Pirates, Planet Minigolf and Swords and Soldiers at as much as 50% off, and some of our great Move-enabled first party PSN games too. Take a look and see if anything grabs your attention.

In the field of new titles we've got Slambolt Scrappers from our friends at SOE - a game that combines Tetris, Tower Defence and maybe... Joust? Try it, you might well like it!

Demo-tastic today as well, with the Crysis 2 Multiplayer demo, Heroes demo and Tiger Woods, so plenty of options to choose from.

DLC today too - you can expand your roster in Marvel vs Capcom 3, expand your décor in The Sims 3 or expand your fish collection in My Aquarium. So go... expand!

You may have noticed that the PSone title we've got this week, while undeniably awesome, has slightly less in the way of the living-challenged, sinister mansions and poor voice acting than perhaps I had led you to believe last week. I'm sorry guys...

European PSN Game Store Updates for March 9, 2011

203w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN updates today, as follows:

Well, Back to the Future is finally here... sorry about the wait but it took us this long to generate the necessary 1.21 gigawatts of electricity to publish the game.

You can download the trial right now and enjoy a snack sized section of the first episode and unlocking will provide the whole first episode of the 5-part series, with access to each new episode as it's released.

Explodemon gets the trial and unlock treatment for anyone who was still undecided, and Bionic Commando 2 gets a demo too.

DLC - there's loads for Def Jam, plenty for Rock Band and the Dragon Age 2 pre-order add-ons launch (for real this time). Even More Animals for LittleBigPlanet 2 drops this week as well, marking the first of the commercially available LBP2 DLC - and certainly not the last. There are free costumes for Yakuza 4, a pack for Porsche lovers hits NFS: Hot Pursuit and the first piece of premium DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood drops today as well - the Da Vinci Disappearance. No prizes for guessing the plot synopsis but it has single and multiplayer content for Ezio's last outing.

Williams Pinball Classics finally hits PSP, a must have for all...

European PSN Game Store Updates for March 2nd, 2011

204w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks EU PSN updates today, as follows:

A new month, a new pool of content, new special offers and new price reductions, so grab a bargain.

PixelJunk Shooter Part 2 is finally with us - you're tasked with escaping, the belly of the beast that swallowed you up at the end of the first game, while saving all the survivors you can.

The criminally under-rated Prince of Persia (2008) is published too, starring Nolan North - the hardest working voice over artist in video games - but sadly you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, I think we're publishing some sort of 'First Strike' map pack for some kind of military first-person shooter named Call of Duty: Black Ops. Apparently it's quite popular...

PSone - Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver joins us on the EU Store, proving that you don't need a bottom jaw when you've got a snazzy pashmina type thing to keep the flies off. Oh, I seem to remember there's a tale of revenge and vampire killing in there somewhere as well.

New DLC for Dragon Age 2, Dead Space 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

More next week - what's being published on the 9th? GREAT SCOTT! I can't possibly...

European PSN Game Store Updates for February 23, 2011

205w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team has posted up this weeks European PSN Game Store updates today, as follows:

And so, the sun sets on February and we round off with another strong week of content with fun stuff to be had for PS3 and PSP.

The Undergarden floats onto PSN this week, spreading joy, pollen and brightly coloured cuteness in its wake, the perfect counter-point to Alien Breed: Descent, the third chapter of Team 17′s twin-stick, extra-terrestrial bug hunt. TNT Racers is also now available for all across Europe.

For all your freebie lovers, we've got demos of Dragon Age 2, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and platform exclusive, Yakuza 4.

Awesome DLC this week in the shape of the highly anticipated Dead Money for Fallout: New Vegas and the Retro Map Pack for KillZone 3. We've also got the first of three new Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit packs this week - Armed and Dangerous which brings new content for you Autolog junkies.

More fan favourites on PSP with Ys I & II Chronicles and Tactics Ogre, and some low cost titles to be revisited with Peter Jackson's King Kong and Disney/Pixar's movie tie-in, Cars.

To get you in the mood for David Jaffe's Twisted Metal reboot, we bring you the roots of the franchise this week...
