Video: Dead Island PS3 Announcement Trailer and Entrails

100°
195w ago - SCEE Blog Manager James Gallagher has shared the Dead Island PS3 announcement trailer and entrails today, with details as follows:

Last month, the phrase '[Register or Login to view links]' appeared and a click revealed it to be a game, and not a newly announced game, but one revealed some years ago and largely forgotten about.

One stylish trailer later and it was one of the phrases on the tip of everyone's Twit-tongue.

"The trailer we released was mostly a blessing," says Vincent Kummer, Dead Island's brand manager at [Register or Login to view links], "because when you put something out there you don't expect to generate that much interest in the game, especially not for free.

However, we are cautious that people might be expecting things from the game, based on that trailer, that simply aren't there. We're aiming to make it very clear, early on, what the game is actually about."

Which is why they've invited me to a warehouse in East London to crawl through underground passages, check out the game and eat pizza in a deckchair. Dead Island is a first-person action RPG set on a tropical holiday island during the zombie...

Videos: Deus Ex: Human Revolution PS3 Trailer and Walkthrough

50°
195w ago - Eidos Montreal Community Manager Kyle Stallock has posted up some videos today of a new Deus Ex: Human Revolution PS3 trailer and walkthrough.

To quote: Multi-path, multi-solution; chances are if you've read, heard, or watched an interview with a member of the dev team these words appeared.

This isn't marketing speak, nor are we incessantly reciting this "password" to try and unlock some deep-seated mental programming placed by the illuminati (or are we?).

This type of play is as integral to the Deus Ex experience as conspiracies or transhumanism, or even wearing sunglasses at night (kidding about that last one, kind of...).

In the spirit of this foundational element we've released a new gameplay trailer highlighting three different ways to tackle one scenario: aggressive, stealth, and adaptive.

When you can finally play on August 26th, what will you choose?

If you enjoy seeing this style of video, please check out a similar one we recently released where narrative designer Mary DeMarle takes viewers through a portion of the game, highlighting the multi-path, multi-solution gameplay that is so important to the series.

50°
195w ago - Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager James Stevenson has shared a PS3 trailer video today spotlighting what's new in Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One on the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.

To quote: Over the last six months we've taken Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One to London, San Francisco, Seattle and Austin. Everywhere we go, people love playing in the Ratchet & Clank universe with three of their friends.

The cooperative gameplay, combined with a dash of competition, has really resonated with players, and we're eager for folks to get their hands on it next week (March 29) at our [Register or Login to view links].

One thing we've heard a lot from our hardcore Ratchet & Clank fans and journalists (which is a group that intersects a lot!) is "this is awesome, but does it have a story?" Our answer: absolutely! All 4 One is a full Ratchet & Clank game with everything you know and love: story, cutscenes, humor, and weapons!

We're excited to give you the first glimpse of that story, with our first big trailer for the game.

Please let us know what you think in the comments! I'm probably sleeping as this is posted in the middle of the night, but I will answer your questions in...
