My thoughts: From a great gameplay hook (involving a single red helium balloon) to a visual style that can only be described as "beautiful," this is definitely one of the best levels LittleBigPlanet has to offer. Don't miss it.

239w ago - Just under a month ago Media Molecule was accepting LBP Water Kit BETA applications.

Today PS3Blog.net (linked above) has confirmed that the LittleBigPlanet Water Beta codes are being sent out and include exclusive unlockables.

To quote: "As a beta tester for this Beta, you will be rewarded with the Beta Test Vest as a thank you for your participation.

It will also be possible to earn a Beta Bug Blaster Hazmat costume, a prize we give only to those testers who go above and beyond the call of duty to provide us with bugs and feedback, or generally make themselves very useful.

There may also be some creative beta challenges, which will give players another way to win one of these rare and very sought after costumes. These costumes are only available from participation in the beta."

Finally, below is a gameplay video of LittleBigPlanet's Water, Multiplayer Level Creator and new tools courtesy of Bart 013. Enjoy!

240w ago - SCEA PR Manager Eric Levine has announced that LittleBigPlanet GOTY (Game Of The Year) Edition arrives today, and has revealed some details of the special guest designers as follows:

For those who haven't jumped on the "Play, Create and Share" bandwagon yet, now is the time as the LittleBigPlanet Game of Year edition Game of Year edition is available NOW!

The new package includes everything from the original as well as seven free downloadable content packs, a PlayStation Network voucher code to download the upcoming ModNation Racers online beta AND 18 never-before-seen levels created by some extremely talented members of the community - all bonus content valued at more than $30!

So, how did these 18 consumers get to be part of a video game? Well, it wasn't random. Our team at Media Molecule handpicked them all after viewing the exceptional levels each fan had previously posted online.

One of these creators, David Dino, a 27 year-old Hospital Safety Coordinator from Azusa, CA, recently spoke with USAToday.com about his...
