It's short and sweet from me today guys, but let me just say I'm very glad to be back with you all again.

This is the first batch of new PSN Store content for your downloadable pleasure; expect further updates from me as we release more content onto the Store.

I know a lot of you were asking and I can confirm that the Spring Offers from April will continue until June 8th, so if you missed out before we went away then you've still got a chance to grab a bargain.

Alongside those offers, [Register or Login to view links] are running a FIFA 11 Ultimate team promotion - any FIFA 11 fans should check out the offers and there will be a dedicated post going live with more information. If you haven't already, you can grab yourself a free copy of FIFA 11 Ultimate Team from the Store.

183w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN updates, as follows:

First of all - you asked for it, we listened - in the Latest section you'll find a new tab called 'New This Week', which is exactly the way the old Latest section used to be.

So if you want to see everything that's dropped in the update, that's where you should head first. Don't say we never do anything for you.

We've got loads of gaming goodness for you this week, including the launch of The Fancy Pants Adventures, Battle: Los Angeles and Red Johnson's Chronicles.

Fancy Pants Adventures tasks you and up to three friends (online or offline!) with traversing the line drawn world in search of your kidnapped sister - if you've played the Flash game of the same name you'll know the score. This version turns the Fancy Pants formula up to 11 and comes highly recommended.

Battle: Los Angeles is the movie tie-in game for the recent alien invasion blockbuster - kick the aliens off your planet and protect the human race in this first person shooter.

Red Johnson's Chronicles follows in the footsteps of BTTF and Sam and Max, you play as the titular Red Johnson as he attempts to solve the mystery of the murder surrounding...

Hello all - Two new PSN games hit today for PS3 owners, complete with trials - the much anticipated [Register or Login to view links] (20% day-one discount for Plussers) and Konami's classic franchise reboot of Rush n' Attack: Ex Patriot.

We've also got loads of DLC for retail and digital releases, allowing you to expand your play time with Moon Diver, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Funky Lab Rat and Bulletstorm to name but a few.

An exciting new range of XMB customisation options launches in the form of 'The Studio' - a brand new set of dynamic and premium themes designed by the hottest artists around, including [Register or Login to view links], [Register or Login to view links] and [Register or Login to view links] (who's work you might recognise from LBP). They're pretty funky themes and Plus members not only get a free theme, but a blanket discount on all current and future 'The Studio' themes. How generous is that?!

185w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN Game Store update today, as follows:

Here's a quick run-down on what you'll find when you hit the Store this afternoon.

•Demos are now a top level category, where you'll find the latest BD demos and trials for PSN titles, as well as an organised A-Z list.

•We've added a Franchises section - in here we'll be building up a library of games, DLC, themes and all the rest which can be browsed by a whole franchise - so now there's one place to visit to get all the KillZone, Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed content you're looking for.

•We've added a Charts section, with the top 10 most downloaded games, demos, minis and more, so you can find the most popular content more easily.

•We've pulled Themes and Avatars out to the top level so you can more easily find what you need to customise your PS3 experience.

•A more organised PlayStation Plus area, with sub-categories and new informative banners.

•A number of cosmetic configuration changes (ooh exciting!)

So yeah - let us know what you think of all the planning and hard work! Give it a chance and we think it'll really help you find what you're...

186w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN Game Store updates today, as follows:

Hello all - a quick update today on the new things we've got and we have an absolute ton of new games and DLC.

Ghostbusters return to PS3 with the Sanctum of Slime, Chime reaches us in the shape of a Super Deluxe edition and we're invaded by blue individuals with Swarm (all three of these games have trials too).

Square-Enix provides us with two awesome titles, one for each platform. The Parasite Eve saga continues on PSP in The 3rd Birthday and Moon Diver graces the PS3.

Plenty of DLC as well this week but the stand outs are Arrival for Mass Effect 2 which bridges the gap to Mass Effect 3, and a whole host of Need for Speed: Shift 2 DLC (available in-game, so have a browse) plus loads for you golf fans with a bunker load of DLC for the new Tiger Woods.
